Chapter 11 - New Species

The heavily armored new breed of Vampire came before the Supreme Grand Duke, then respectfully knelt on one knee.

"Father, I will dedicate everything for our clan."

"Rise, my son." The Supreme Grand Duke raised a hand. "And you, Gao Tiannu, there's no need to keep kneeling. You two will create the future of the Blood Clan together."

At this moment, Gao Tiannu realized that this Blood Clan Grand Duke, who had lived for a thousand years, was probably even more insane than that young man, Deacon Frost.

Gao Tiannu assessed the situation, then tremblingly said, "In that case, I will take my leave, Your Grace."

"Wait, Gao Tiannu, I still have one thing to ask you." Supreme Grand Duke Ailer Damarkinos called out to Gao Tiannu again.

"You ask." Gao Tiannu respectfully replied.

"I heard that a hunter who likes to spread fake goods has appeared in New York City? He wears a fox mask on his head?"

"Your information is very accurate, Your Grace." Gao Tiannu answered truthfully.

Upon hearing this, the Supreme Grand Duke looked at his own son, "Go, Norma, bring me that fox's head."

"Yes, Father." Chad Norma, like an abyssal iron tower, replied.

At this moment, Gao Tiannu only felt that his ears were malfunctioning, because he heard seven hearts beating simultaneously, but there were only Gao Tiannu himself, the Supreme Grand Duke, and Chad Norma—how could there be so many extra heartbeats out of nowhere?

An answer that Gao Tiannu couldn't believe appeared in his mind.

Chad Norma, this guy called a new breed by the Supreme Grand Duke, was a monster with seven hearts.

A monster! A complete and utter monster!

At the same time, at old man Whistler's garage, two figures were sparring in the open space.

The sound of steel clashing continuously rang out, as Ailer and Blade each took a solid iron rod and used them to spar.

Ailer didn't transform, relying entirely on his own abilities to cope, but even so, he could still contend with Blade.

Ten minutes later, Ailer and Blade both stopped.

Whew—

Ailer let out a long breath, a flush of excitement appearing on his face. His hand gripping the iron rod was still strong, and he looked like he could continue fighting.

"Refreshing!"

"Are you really human?" Blade casually tossed the iron rod aside, then said to the young man in front of him:

"Your nerve reaction speed and strength are both stronger than an Olympic champion's, and very balanced and comprehensive. I've only seen your kind of situation in history books, and that person's name was 'Steve Rogers.'"

"I'm not like him; I haven't reached my peak yet." Ailer began to relax his muscles. Blade's speed and strength were faster than his without transforming. In the recent sparring, Ailer was still hit many times.

After more than a decade of training and combat, Blade possesses the World's top swordsmanship and marksmanship, and his special operations capabilities can even rival high-level S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents.

Aside from his skills, as a half-human, half-Vampire, Blade's physique is also extremely powerful.

Blade can leap over ten meters with a single jump, he can lift over twenty tons of heavy objects, and he has matching speed.

As he ages, Blade continues to grow stronger. If he completely abandoned his moral principles and continuously drank blood, Blade would become even stronger.

Currently, Blade is in his prime, and guiding Ailer, this newcomer, is more than enough for him.

Upon hearing this, Blade looked at the young man with the fox mask in front of him, then said:

"You are indeed different from him. You're a freak who can approach the limits of the human body without serum. I'm starting to get a little curious about how strong you can become."

Captain America Steve Rogers, in order to save his homeland, resolutely accepted the Super Soldier Serum in the experiment, gaining powerful strength beyond the limits of the human body, and then rushed to the battlefield to beat up the Nazis.

These deeds are written in America's history textbooks, even Blade, who dropped out of elementary school, knows them.

"Approaching the limits of the human body?" Ailer heard someone evaluate his strength like this for the first time, so he took the opportunity to ask:

"Then how far do you think I am from breaking the limit?"

The strength of a Kamen Rider is not entirely fixed; there are two factors that determine combat power. The first factor is the basic quality of the transformed person, which determines the lower limit of the Kamen Rider's strength. The second factor is will, which determines the upper limit of the Rider's strength.

"Almost there." Blade nodded and said, "You're already stronger than many Olympic champions, and you can combine their strengths, kid. Even without those strange gadgets, you're like Usain Bolt with the strength of Mike Tyson."

Ailer didn't reveal everything to Blade; the latter only knew that this young man had many mysterious tools.

Out of respect, Blade didn't investigate too much.

"Is that so." Ailer stroked his chin. Just as he fell into contemplation, an old voice suddenly rang out.

"I told you two to stop fighting, seriously, can't an old man even get a nap?" Whistler held a flask in his hand and walked towards them, his slightly complaining voice stopping the two.

Whistler walked up to Ailer and asked, "So, you're the one who bought weapons from me?"

"More or less." Ailer answered him vaguely.

"More or less? Young people these days are really strange." Whistler shook his head, then said to Ailer:

"However, having one more friend isn't a bad thing for us."

"Whistler, how's the investigation going?" Blade brought up a matter. After he brought back the bill Ailer provided, he handed it over to Whistler to investigate.

Although the old man wasn't much of a fighter, his intelligence gathering abilities were very strong, especially concerning matters related to Vampires.

"Found some." Whistler pulled out a flash drive from the pocket of his tattered denim jacket, then, after taking a big swig of alcohol, he said.

"Those dirty monsters are getting trickier and trickier. I only found a large bar called 'Sea Shark,' which might have higher-level intelligence."

"This is enough." Blade replied.

"However, I need to mention one thing: there might be quite a few pure-blood Vampires in this Sea Shark bar. Their strength is not the same as mixed-blood scum." Whistler said this while looking at Ailer, "You absolutely must not treat them as mixed-blood scum. It's best to use your miraculous tools from the very beginning."

"Is that so? I understand." Ailer nodded, and kept Whistler's warning in mind.

However, Ailer also began to wonder just how much stronger pure-bloods were than mixed-bloods.
