Chapter 131 - Chapter 131

Chapter 131: Bat Island

Using Hoffman Island's various viruses and Venom pheromone lures was merely one of many plans Batman had prepared for Anti-Venom.

When Batman decided to use Hoffman Island's century-accumulated viruses against Anti-Venom, he'd already prepared for the possibility these viruses would prove worthless against it, unable to produce any effect whatsoever.

Even now, watching data from sensors distributed across the island through his suit custom-built to counter Anti-Venom—confirming Anti-Venom's condition was continuously declining—Batman still didn't let his guard down.

As Anti-Venom penetrated deeper into Hoffman Island's central area, Batman activated a series of plans completely unrelated to viruses.

Plan AA: Massive numbers of Venom pheromone lures deployed across the island simultaneously released signals—no longer lures, but simulated chemical signatures of multiple lethal viruses and toxins.

The instant Anti-Venom entered the Island's core area, overwhelming simulated virus signals were immediately detected by Anti-Venom.

It constantly sensed threats and instinctively purified them, only to discover that no matter how hard it tried, the simulated chemical signals remained in the environment.

In this moment, Anti-Venom resembled a pitiful emergency dispatcher surrounded by thousands upon thousands of phones all ringing simultaneously.

Every call was a false alarm. But by instinct, Anti-Venom refused to miss answering any single call.

But those false emergency calls didn't disappear when Anti-Venom picked them up. Each signal appeared, vanished, appeared repeatedly...

It was like Batman commanding God to create a stone so heavy He couldn't lift it—causing Anti-Venom to trap itself in a logical paradox loop.

Two complete plans: one to consume Anti-Venom's capabilities physiologically and materially, another to attack the symbiote's sensory and cognitive core.

Just as Batman considered immediately activating a third plan, the data his Anti-Anti-Venom suit detected suddenly began fluctuating dramatically.

"SKREEE!"

Like a rat's shriek but exponentially more powerful, the scream echoed across the island. Anti-Venom clutched its head with both hands, the white symbiotic material on its body boiling like water.

Bubbles appeared across Anti-Venom's body, rapidly expanding before bursting with pops into the air.

From Batman's perspective, it looked like some mischievous child had inserted a straw beneath Anti-Venom's skin and was continuously blowing air, causing endless bubble generation.

The originally pearl-white symbiotic material became nauseating due to constant bubble formation. Anti-Venom's body began swelling continuously—because some bubbles hadn't yet exploded while new ones kept generating endlessly.

Batman still didn't move, merely pausing the third targeted plan he'd prepared to activate. Instead, he began adjusting web fluid formulations based on current circumstances, implementing the plan targeting Eddie Brock.

He jumped down from his concealed position in the tree canopy but still didn't appear directly before Anti-Venom.

"According to data analysis of Anti-Venom, after enduring physiological consumption from infinite virus loops and mental torture from recursive cognitive traps, Anti-Venom has entered an unprecedentedly vulnerable state."

"Its energy level is extremely low. This means its symbiosis with host Eddie Brock inside is no longer as unbreakable as before."

Plan AAA targeting Eddie Brock: Deploy hardening foam to completely immobilize the weakened Anti-Venom from head to toe, letting hardening gel fill every corner of Anti-Venom's body.

Then the Arkham Batmobile rapidly rose from beneath the water's surface at Hoffman Island's shore, activating its onboard sonic cannon.

Batman didn't need the sonic cannon's high-frequency noise to interfere with Anti-Venom. Instead, he switched frequencies, using infrasound to attack Eddie Brock inside Anti-Venom.

Human internal organs' natural resonance frequencies mainly ranged between 4 to 18 hertz. When high-intensity infrasound acted on the human body, it would cause organs to resonate violently.

Last night, Batman had pre-calibrated the Arkham Batmobile's sonic cannon. Its frequency and intensity were set at a threshold sufficient to severely disturb the host but insufficient to cause permanent damage.

He intended to exploit the severe physiological discomfort caused by infrasound—fatigue, anxiety, panic, mental confusion, dizziness, nausea...

"If infrasound still can't affect Eddie Brock inside the weakened Anti-Venom, I'll still need to execute the Alpha series plans..."

Batman completed temporary adjustments to the web fluid formulation in his utility belt.

His plans weren't all conducted in shadows. When necessary, Batman wouldn't hesitate to deploy the tremendous physical capabilities Peter Parker's body provided.

But Batman had overestimated Anti-Venom. Or rather, after his battle with Anti-Venom in the Adirondack Mountains, he'd prepared too many countermeasures based on the seemingly invulnerable symbiote body.

Anti-Venom itself fell into dual torment—physiological and mental. Eddie Brock inside it also screamed in agony, struggling desperately to escape Anti-Venom's body.

When Batman finally emerged and approached Anti-Venom, he only heard a wet tearing sound—Anti-Venom and Eddie Brock had completely separated. Eddie Brock simply passed out clean and quick.

Anti-Venom and Eddie couldn't hold out until Batman personally engaged. They'd already collapsed one step ahead.

And with Anti-Venom losing its host, the measures Batman had prepared now tortured it even more severely.

Its body shrank smaller and smaller—from a massive three-meter frame rapidly shrinking to only fist-sized, finally going limp like Eddie Brock in the hardening gel, motionless.

The pearl-white symbiotic material also became dry and lost its luster in this moment, completely turning to ash.

"Venom could be reborn from a trace of symbiotic material left in my bone marrow. I have reason to believe Anti-Venom possesses this same capability."

Batman didn't relax his vigilance. From a distance, he fired several web strands, binding Eddie Brock from head to toe. Then with a click, he secured a breathing mask over Eddie's face.

"Barbara, scan for all residual viruses in the environment, including on me."

Batman held Eddie Brock by the hand and addressed the Oracle AI.

"No viruses or toxins detected, Bruce." Inside the Anti-Anti-Venom suit's mask, massive amounts of analytical data flowed like snowflakes. The Oracle AI's voice soon responded. "This Bat island has been completely purified."
