Inside the tower, Arthur was in his own private room, standing near the window, looking down from above.
A sea of parents and children crowded around the Spirit Pagoda.
"Awakening a martial soul?" Arthur murmured to himself, a glimmer of anticipation flashing in his eyes.
Six years since transmigrating to this world, he could finally awaken his martial soul. What his future held would depend on whether this awakening would produce a powerful martial soul.

His name was Su Wuyan, the tower master of East Sea City's Spirit Pagoda branch, a level 95 Super Douluo and three-character battle armor master. He was also Arthur's uncle.
"How about it? You're about to awaken your martial soul. Excited?"
Su Wuyan looked at the cute little blonde kid with golden tousled hair before him, speaking while unable to resist reaching out to pat his head.
"I guess."
Although he had fantasized about this day for six years, now that Awakening Day had actually arrived, Arthur didn't have much of an emotional reaction and felt calm inside. He said casually, "Skip the foreplay, let's just awaken it directly."
"Also, old man, take your stinking hand away. Did you birth my head? Why are you touching it?"
"Hey, you little brat, I'm your uncle! What's wrong with patting your head?"
Su Wuyan wasn't angry at his disrespectful words, and instead increased his strength, vigorously rubbing Arthur's head.

Arthur didn't go downstairs to awaken with the other children outside. As the tower master of East Sea Spirit Pagoda, it was incredibly easy for Su Wuyan to open a separate awakening room for him.

Because of this incident, Su Wuyan's mental state became problematic. He felt guilty that despite possessing Super Douluo level power, he couldn't protect his younger brother and sister-in-law.
He often wondered if he could have saved his brother and sister-in-law if he'd been a bit faster back then.
This guilt extended to Arthur.
This was also why Arthur was disrespectful to Su Wuyan and often spoke rudely.
Arthur felt that acting this way made Su Wuyan feel a bit better.
Being obedient and sensible would only make him feel more heartbroken.
"Light Holy Dragon... it would be best if it's the Holy Angel martial soul."

Something seemed to be emerging. Arthur couldn't help but tremble all over.
A golden pillar of light shot into the sky, piercing through the awakening room, piercing through the Spirit Pagoda, shooting straight toward the endless heavens!
The sea of people queuing outside the Spirit Pagoda all raised their heads in shock, looking toward the upper part of the Spirit Pagoda, then couldn't help but cover their eyes.
That pillar of light was so dazzling that even with the sun high in the sky, it couldn't overshadow its brilliance.
Inside the awakening room, Su Wuyan stood within the light. As a Super Douluo, his movements were incredibly swift - in the blink of an eye, he had put on sunglasses.
He stared intently at Arthur in the center of the pillar of light. He was now indescribably excited.
He had never heard of any martial soul awakening that would produce such a magnificent phenomenon!
Stable!
Everything is stable!
Looking at this unprecedented phenomenon, Su Wuyan felt that Arthur had the potential to become a god!
He was already beginning to imagine Arthur's future invincible figure ruling over the world.
The pillar of light gradually dissipated.
A sword floated before Arthur. The blade had smooth lines and an elegant design, covered in a layer of brilliant light.
Reaching out to grasp it, a series of information quickly flashed through his mind.
"This is... the Sword of Promised Victory!" Arthur's joy was evident on his face.
This was the Holy Sword of the Stars from the Fate world, a planet-level armament.
Even with the thirteen restraints sealing its power, it was an extremely powerful weapon. And with all seals released, its might could even cleave stars.
However, this holy sword wasn't yet that powerful. After all, it wasn't a real weapon - it was just a martial soul for now. For it to become powerful still required Arthur to slowly cultivate.
"The future path is now stable." Arthur knew that as long as he cultivated steadily, just this holy sword martial soul alone could resolve most of the crises that Douluo Continent would face in the future.
The holy sword was super effective against evil!
