Mitsuki lay peacefully in her bed, the moonlight casting a soft glow over her serene features. As she drifted into sleep, her consciousness was pulled into a dream, a memory of a time long past.
In the dream, two majestic dragons hovered in a vast, ethereal landscape. The first dragon had a long, elongated body covered mostly in scales, with white fur on her long neck and black fur from the joints of her limbs. Black markings adorned her shoulders, and she had several white, furry tail-like wings with black tips. Her head was shaped with a snout, bearing a small beard, black markings around her eyes, pointy ears, and large crescent-shaped horns protruding back with black tips.
Beside her was another dragon, equally magnificent, with pretty snowy ice-blue scales that glimmered in the dim light. Her eyes shone with warmth and a hint of sadness as she conversed with the White Dragon.
"I look forward to the birth of my child," the Snow Dragon said, her voice melodic and filled with a mother's pride.
The White Dragon nodded, a gentle smile on her lips. "You will be a wonderful mother, my friend. Your children will be extraordinary, just like you."
The Snow Dragon sighed, her gaze distant. "I only hope they will be safe. The Black Dragon's pursuit is relentless. He will not stop until he finds us."
The White Dragon's expression grew somber. "When the time comes, I will protect them both. You have my word."
The Snow Dragon nodded, gratitude in her eyes. "Your strength and loyalty mean the world to me. But even though the Black Dragon is powerful, he cannot break through dimensions. That is our advantage."
The White Dragon's eyes flashed with determination. "It's an unfair fight, targeting you just because you helped the Fire Dragon King. But I will do everything in my power to keep you and your children safe. If it means sending you to another dimension, so be it."
The Snow Dragon smiled softly. "Thank you. Your friendship has been my greatest blessing."
The dream began to fade, the ethereal landscape dissolving into mist. As the vision ended, Mitsuki slowly awakened, her eyes fluttering open. She lay still for a moment, reflecting on the dream and the bond between the two dragons. A smile touched her lips as she felt a deep sense of connection and purpose.
"Ryuga," she murmured to herself, feeling the weight of destiny on her shoulders. "Our paths are intertwined, just as they were meant to be."
Rising from her bed, Mitsuki moved to the window and gazed out at the moonlit village of Konoha. The future was uncertain, but the dream had reinforced her resolve. She knew that she had a role to play, not just in her own journey, but in the lives of those around her.
As she prepared for the day ahead, Mitsuki felt a renewed sense of determination. The Chunin Exams were approaching, and with them, opportunities to protect, to grow, and to forge new bonds. She looked forward to the challenges and the moments of triumph that lay ahead.
Downstairs, her team was already gathering, ready to begin their preparations. Mitsuki joined them, her mind clear and her spirit strong. As the village of Konoha buzzed with anticipation for the upcoming exams, Mitsuki knew that her journey was just beginning.
