Chapter 42 - Chapter 42

Magic Cluster Cannon – Jupiter.

This was one of the most powerful magical weapons in the world of Fairy Tail. It had first appeared during the all-out battle between the Specter and Fairy Tail. At that time, even Erza, an S-rank mage, summoned her strongest Vajra Armor defense, yet she could barely withstand it after exhausting her magic. That alone was proof of its overwhelming power.

Of course, when compared to the ancient weapons of this world—like Pluton, capable of destroying an island in a single shot—Jupiter was far weaker. But even if it fell short of such legendary scale, it was still more than a match for the average forces of the world. Against standard warship cannons, the Jupiter could almost be described as a "dimensional strike."

Even if one day the guild faced an entire fleet, Yuuto could have the leftovers manipulate Jupiter from the air, striking without worry. One cannon or one ship would be nothing to fear.

Morning arrived.

One by one, the Fairy Tail girls woke up.

"Good morning, President~" Nami rubbed her sleepy eyes and yawned.

"By the way, President… is this an illusion caused by my hangover? It feels like our ship has grown bigger!" Vivi asked, uncertain.

"This is not an illusion. After we fell asleep last night, the president upgraded the ship slightly," Mirajan replied with a playful blink.

"Nani! The president still has this skill?" Nami's eyes widened in surprise.

The next second, Yuuto's large hand playfully ruffled Nami's hair. "Hahaha…"

Time passed quickly. Another week flew by in the blink of an eye. During this period of rest, Vivi took Fairy Tail on a tour to experience the customs and culture of Alabasta.

Thanks to the news coverage, the entire country knew that Fairy Tail had saved Alabasta. Wherever Yuuto and his party went, they were greeted with warmth and admiration. After a week-long hero's parade, Fairy Tail prepared to set sail once more.

Meanwhile, big events were happening in Alabasta.

10:00 a.m., Royal Capital Albana.

The streets and squares were packed with citizens, all eager for the upcoming ceremony. People crowded the major cities, buzzing with excitement. Princess Vivi's ceremonial speech was about to begin.

Originally, this ceremony had been scheduled for Vivi's fourteenth year, but a year ago, she had gone undercover in the Locke Agency to investigate the root of the civil strife. Now, with everything resolved, the country was ready to celebrate. King Cobra had personally arranged the ceremony to inspire the nation.

Finally, under the eager eyes of the citizens, Princess Vivi stepped onto the red carpet, ascending the high platform in the city square.

However, the crowd froze in confusion.

"Wait… that's not Princess Vivi!"

"Ah! That's Captain Icarem!"

"What is he doing dressed like a princess?"

The audience was in chaos, tossing rotten tomatoes and jeering. Icarem, captain of the king's army guard, ignored them and performed a playful fan dance atop the railing to liven the scene.

Then, Vivi's voice echoed throughout the kingdom via the hidden phone bug:

"It all began that day when I embarked on a small adventure… crossing dark seas and facing hopeless storms. In the midst of despair, I met a small boat that held my helpless hand…"

At Alabasta's East Port, Tamarisk, the Fairy Tail ship floated quietly. Vivi held the phone bug, narrating her journey to the entire country.

"It is the greatest fortune of my life to have met everyone in Fairy Tail. From them, I have learned courage and kindness. I wish to share that courage and kindness with others. So… please forgive me if I must leave for a while."

"Hey, are we really going?" Falcon Bell sighed, reluctant.

"Why worry, Bell?" Jakar the Jackal replied. "Haven't we decided already? We must support Vivi-sama to the very end and cheer for her new adventure!"

The citizens across the kingdom looked at each other in stunned silence. Then, as realization dawned:

"Hahaha! Did you hear? Master Vivi is preparing to walk with the heroes!"

"She's going to help people in need!"

"As expected of our princess!"

"Heroes of Fairy Tail, we must protect our princess!"

Cheers and laughter erupted across Alabasta. Even King Cobra wiped a tear from his eye.

"Bon Voyage!" he shouted.

East Harbor, Tamarisk, Southeastern waters.

A large Marine warship braved the waves and approached Fairy Tail.

"Wait, did I hear that right? The princess wants to join Fairy Tail? Is she… becoming a pirate?" a young, striking girl exclaimed, dressed in a floral dress and hat.

"Peacock Sauce! Fairy Tail isn't exactly a pirate guild! And Princess Vivi… she's amazing! Our idol!" Sergeant Skylark said in awe.

"A princess joining Fairy Tail isn't trivial," Admiral Gion said seriously. "But as long as the negotiations succeed today, there's no problem."

"Miss Gion, look! Someone's approaching Fairy Tail…" Marine Colonel Hina's eyes widened.

"Who is it?" Peacock, the little granddaughter of Vice Admiral Crane, asked.

"Son of the Devil—" Hina inhaled sharply.

"Nico Robin!!!"
