Gaga~
The phone bug clicked off. Princess Vivi's resolution speech had ended.
"Alright, let's go!" Vivi raised her small, vibrant fist, full of determination.
"Before that, Mira, go ahead and get that ready," Yuuto instructed.
"That…?" Vivi tilted her head in confusion.
"Gah?" Karoo, the super-speed duck who had joined Vivi, echoed, tilting his head curiously.
"That," Nami said, holding up her arm to show the Fairy Tail logo.
"This is the symbol of our guild, and also the mark of our partners!"
Vivi's eyes lit up. "Can I have a logo like that too?"
"Of course! Vivi, have you decided where to put it? You can also choose the color freely!" Nami reminded.
"Where… the print? Isn't it always on the arm?" Vivi looked puzzled.
"Not necessarily. Yuuto and I have it on our right arms, Erza on her left arm, and Juvia and Mira on their left thighs. Each member chooses their own color too. Vivi, you understand, right?" Nami explained.
"Oh, oh!" Vivi nodded, finally remembering after bathing with the others. She thought for a moment, considered several options, and finally decided:
"Then I'll have it on the back of my hand! And the color will be Baijin!"
"Quack quack!" Karoo flapped his wings, signaling he wanted his logo branded on his own feathers.
"Alright then, let's do this one by one!" Mirajan said, holding a magical seal.
Vivi extended the back of her right hand and closed her eyes nervously, expecting some pain. Yet it was over almost instantly.
In a flash, the Fairy Tail logo appeared—branding complete. Karoo's logo followed shortly after.
"Congratulations, Vivi! From now on, you're officially a member of Fairy Tail!" Nami clapped repeatedly.
Vivi looked at her new logo under the sunlight, joy beyond words.
Jingle bell~
The service bell rang.
"Who could that be now?" Nami whispered, activating the guild's magical lifting platform.
In moments, two figures—a tall one and a smaller one—appeared on the deck.
"Miss Golden Week and Miss All Sunday, what brings you here?" Vivi asked, eyes wide in surprise.
Nami, shapeshifting her Taurus Star Spirit form, subtly positioned herself in front of Vivi, protective.
"I've heard of Fairy Tail," Robin said with a faint smile, waving her hand. "I'm here to entrust you with a special mission."
A large package descended onto the deck via the lift platform. When opened, it shone with gold and jewels, dazzling everyone.
"Wow! Ms. Robin, please sit!" Nami gasped, blinded by the treasure, even offering Robin a seat out of courtesy.
"What is the task you wish to entrust to us?" Mira asked.
"I want to uncover a piece of history," Robin said solemnly.
"History?" Erza raised an eyebrow.
"History is a record of time. Events of the distant past are preserved… but about eight hundred years ago, there's a period missing. It's commonly called the Void Century. I want to uncover that lost history. This is my commission."
"A Void Century?" Erza, Mira, and Juvia exchanged confused glances. Even Vivi and Nami, who had grown up in the One Piece world, were puzzled. Robin's mission seemed abstract and incomprehensible.
Others might not understand, but Yuuto knew immediately.
"Alright. We accept this commission," Yuuto said without hesitation, immediately switching into his decisive mode.
"This… just the difficulty level is far too low," Nami thought, realizing Yuuto was about to take over the operation again. She silently braced herself.
"No problem. I'll handle the part you can't, as long as President Yuuto can assign me a task!" Robin continued.
"I'll also help, Sister Robin!" Mira agreed casually.
Yuuto smiled knowingly. These were his invited members—of course he would accept. Erza and the others didn't even question the decision.
Vivi, however, looked a little uneasy. Both Robin and Mira had once been part of Barlocke Works and involved in Klockedar's schemes. Working with former enemies was awkward… but when she considered the guild had saved Alabasta and Robin had helped, her worry eased.
"Princess Vivi," Robin said softly, approaching her dazed. "Even if it's little, I want to apologize to you and Alabasta first."
"Sorry," Mira echoed.
Vivi waved her hand quickly. "It's alright. It's all over now. Besides, if it weren't for Miss All Sunday helping me and Icarem keep our identities secret, we wouldn't have been undercover for so long or met everyone!"
Generosity aside, Vivi's understanding nature meant she didn't want to embarrass Yuuto either.
"Thank you," she said warmly.
"Robin and Mira, come here and decide where you want your logos!" Mirajan instructed.
Robin chose the back of her left hand for the Black Fairy Tail logo, while Mira opted for her right calf. The branding was complete, granting Fairy Tail another +2 guild points.
"President, should we hold a banquet next? To welcome our new partners?" Juvia suggested.
"No need for a welcome ceremony," Yuuto said, turning his gaze southeast.
A large Marine warship was approaching.
"What are the Marines doing here?" Nami muttered, finally pulling her attention away from the treasure.
Robin pursed her lips nervously. The joy of joining Fairy Tail suddenly vanished—this was about to get serious.
