Chapter 52 - Chapter 52

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Three magical power boats surged from the bilge of Fairy Tail's main ship.

Under Erza's leadership, they sped toward the island where the client awaited. Six members and one duck went out, leaving only Yuuto and Mirajan aboard the massive guild ship.

After days of bustling activity, Fairy Tail finally returned to a moment of calm. Seeing Mirajan approaching, Yuuto immediately drew her into his arms.

These past days, everyone had been so busy that Yuuto had never had a moment alone with her.

Mirajan's personality wasn't as forward as Juvia's; she wouldn't ask for this herself. Yuuto had no choice but to take the initiative.

Before he could even speak, Mirajan handed him a stack of power of attorney.

"Here, President Yuuto, these are all the commissions we've prepared for you!"

"So many?" Yuuto raised an eyebrow.

"Because you're the president! Everyone is working hard, so how could you slack off? And besides, you're very fast!" Mirajan's lips curved into a small smile.

"Fast? Mira, are you trying to provoke me?" Yuuto grinned.

"Emmm… if the president finishes quickly, then before everyone comes back, you can do whatever you want~"

Yuuto's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Anything?" he asked.

"Certainly!" Mirajan's face flushed.

"Deal," Yuuto snapped his fingers.

Chi chi!

Lightning flashed. In an instant, Yuuto disappeared from the guild ship.

Two days later, after completing all the quests, Yuuto returned to Fairy Tail.

"Ah, you finished already? You really deserve to be president!" Mirajan praised.

"It's all thanks to your reward, Mira—it motivated me," Yuuto said with a slight smile.

"You're really something…" Mirajan blushed.

"You've worked hard these past two days. I'm going to prepare something delicious now…" she said, heading to the kitchen.

Before she could escape, Yuuto appeared in front of her, lifting her into his arms.

"Compared to your cooking, I have something more to enjoy right now~"

A cup of tea and a simple snack after hard work always felt divine.

For Yuuto, this moment was especially sweet. After waiting for two full days, he finally had what he wanted.

Mira felt the same way. The only drawback was that the reward time was too short.

Half a day later, Erza's team returned: six members and one duck.

"Miss Mira, I'm starving! Please get food ready first!" Nami flopped onto the dining table, exhausted.

"I'm coming!" Mirajan hurried to the kitchen.

"Mira, is something wrong? Can I help?" Erza asked with concern.

"No… nothing. Erza, go sit down; dinner will be ready soon!" Mirajan waved her off.

"Oh well," Erza said, letting it go.

Sighing in relief, Mirajan got to work. The girls of Fairy Tail ate and drank, then rested. Exhaustion from two days of nonstop activity soon sent everyone to sleep.

The next morning, early dawn, Grand Line – Gaya Can Island.

"Father… you haven't slept all night, have you?"

Masla, captain of the ape-themed crew, approached Wen Braun Kulik, a man with chestnut hair and a diamond-shaped face. He was the grandson of King Nolando's descendant, four hundred years after the legendary expedition.

"It's all because of that Morgans guy!" Masla said, shaking his orangutan-like head. "He made my father wait three days. How do we know Fairy Tail will even show? Are we being fooled?"

The trio—an orangutan-like captain, Masla, and Wen Braun Kulik—made up the Ape Mountain United Army. For the past ten years, they had searched for Shandora, the legendary Golden Land. Sometimes, even Kulik doubted its existence.

But to erase the shame of his ancestor Nolando's empty brag, he had wagered everything, defying fate.

Three days ago, a paperbird delivered Morgans' brief message:

"It's an honor—your commission has been taken by Fairy Tail. Prepare for President Yuuto's arrival!"

Kulik's blood raced. Originally, he had submitted the commission casually, thinking it would go unanswered. But now…

Surprises often came unexpectedly.

For three days, he waited eagerly by the coast. Intuition told him this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Missing it might mean never achieving his long-cherished goal.

"Father, why don't you rest? We'll watch for them!" Masla said.

Swish!

Kulik suddenly stood, body trembling. At the horizon:

Fairy Tail is coming!
