EP.4 Hidden Special Privilege Class
As far as I know, if you reincarnate into a typical manifest world, direct communication with the goddess is impossible.
However, in certain worlds, this ability is quite well established.
In such places, only a few classes are able to communicate directly with the goddess.
But the world I reincarnated in was not one of those.
In this world, to communicate with the goddess, she would have to descend directly into the manifest realm.
Yet, the goddess sent me a message as if chatting, without descending into the world.
It seems this was thanks to the awakening of the status window.
"Wow... The goddess upgraded my class to a special privilege class!"
"Not just hidden, but special hidden!!!"
You really have to live kindly.
Didn't the goddess mention it herself?
She said my past good deeds influenced her justification for intervening in the status window system and adjusting my rank.
That's not just empty words.
The goddess truly felt sorry for mistaking me for the psychopath Kim Taesik.
Part of that guilt was because I'd lived more kindly than she expected.
I'm just a good guy who likes to masturbate.
"I was cursing about the zombie apocalypse starting at the wrong time, but if this is the result... thank you... beautiful goddess, thank you..."
It broke out early and I almost got screwed, but in the end, I didn't die.
And now I've even obtained a special hidden class, so it's a blessing in disguise.
The secret to a happy life is quick acceptance and adaptation.
Once again, I activated my infinite positivity circuit.
"So, Nano Warrior also has the 'warrior' title... and the traits are very similar to the previous status window's warrior, so it seems close combat is the main ability, right?"
"Does the nano function mean equipment is continuously supplied? Since I see the Nano Awakened Metal Pipe, that must be the case."
Both the initial regular class and the special hidden class I obtained are close-combat types.
My guess is that awakening abilities are somewhat related to the personality of the awakened.
I'm not the type who enjoys variables or adventure.
You could say I'm the type who finds interest in steadily building things up through routine.

"Hm... It's the same close-combat type, but as a special hidden class, there are a lot of added and improved functions."
For the regular warrior, I could figure out most things without even looking at the [Ability Details].
But the hidden special privilege class, Nano Warrior, had a lot more to see compared to the regular warrior.
I gained an inventory as a special ability and even got a special weapon.
First, the "Special Growth Possible" phrase in the [Feature] section stood out.
For the regular warrior, the feature was "Normal Growth Possible."
Normal growth felt a bit abstract.
On the other hand, the Nano Warrior's special growth seemed to have a clear growth mechanism.
"If you kill zombies, it seems you get points, and you're supposed to use those points to upgrade your basic stats."
"There are daily training points too, but judging by the scale, the main point is still to hunt zombies for points."
Looking at the [Daily Zombie Max Allocation] and [Points] sections at the bottom of the status window,
and seeing the stat slots marked as [0/5],
I could deduce the growth mechanism of the hidden special class Nano Warrior.
It means you level up and accumulate stats by killing zombies.
There was also a [Daily Training Points] section for collecting points.
Judging by the name, it seems you get points by training.
Between those two growth methods, the main one is clearly to hunt zombies for points.
The amount you can get right away is different.
Zombie points have a daily max of 20, while training points are capped at 5 per day.
Also, for zombie points, there's a big "F Level" label next to it.
It seems the daily zombie point cap increases as your overall level rises.
But training points are capped at a total of 150.
And the low grade is set at 5 points.
If the number increases as you reach intermediate or advanced, it'll run out in about 20 days.
Even if you don't get the full amount every day, it'll be depleted within a month.
"If you think of killing zombies in a game, 20 a day might not seem like much before actually experiencing it."
The daily max zombie allocation at F level is 20.
My perception of that number is very different now than before.
By "before," I mean before actually killing zombies.
Beating up a writhing zombie right in front of you is no ordinary feat.
Even an ordinary person would be mentally wrecked just from killing dogs or pigs.
I can still vividly remember the feeling from about two hours ago when I killed zombies on the outskirts of Taewang Metropolitan City.
The opponent was definitely a zombie.
But the feeling of smashing its skull, the sight of its brain matter bursting from a heavy pipe blow, the chilling sensation of forcing its head open
it felt like splitting apart a human body, not a zombie.
Especially at this stage, the zombies' bodies haven't started rotting.
They're still quite firm and tough, just like uninfected humans.
It's something you do to survive, but it's definitely not something a person should have to do.
Even for professionals, it's not much different.
Even trained soldiers suffer aftereffects after experiencing war.
Actually killing zombies is like that.
It's a pretty disgusting job.
That's why even killing 5 to 7 zombies a day would be really tough.
For anyone with normal mental strength, their mind would be worn down and their stamina would be drained.
Unless you're a psychopath driven by madness, killing 20 a day would shave years off your life.
So at this point, filling the daily quota of 20 is unrealistic.
"That's the dilemma for close-combat types, but if your specs are overwhelming, it could be different."
If your specs are overwhelming enough to avoid the worst of it, it could be a different story.
"I wonder what the base stat values are. For now, my estimate is based on my original physical ability."
From now on, I have to grow by collecting points from zombies.
And in the Nano Warrior's growth mechanism,
the stats most affected by those points are the basic stats.
Especially since my class is close-combat, the basic stats are hugely important.
Click!
For that reason, hoping my base stats would be at a remarkable level, I pressed [Level Details].
"When you eliminate a zombie, you receive points as determined."
"You also receive points corresponding to the quality of your training."
"The points you acquire can be applied to [Power], [Agility], [Stamina], [Endurance], and [Mana], raising each respective stat."
"When all five stats are equal, your overall level rises to the next rank."
"For individual stats, up to the allowed limit, applying points immediately increases the stat."
"After reaching the allowed limit, you can only increase the stat further after your overall level rises."
"Levels progress in the order F/E/D/C/B/A/S."
My current overall level is F.
To reach the next level, E, I need 25 points.
All 25 points must be applied for the overall level to rise by one step.
"Oh... so the F level stat values are already in effect."
According to the notification, my detailed F-level stats are already applied.
"If I apply 5 points here, that stat becomes E grade."
In this state, if I apply points to Power, Agility, Endurance, Stamina, or Mana, the stat immediately increases by the number of points applied.
And when a stat receives 5 points, it becomes E level.
So even if my overall level is still F, Power can become E level if I apply 5 points.
Not just the display, but the actual stat power rises to E level.
But the next rank, D level, is different.
To get D-level stats, your overall level must be E.
That's what the [0/5] limit means.
In the end, it's just a matter of whether you do it sooner or later
once you reach a level range, you have to fill all the individual stat points to that level.
"Currently, Hero Kim Taesik's overall level is F. The next rank is E, and the current F-rank stats are as follows."
As expected for the Nano Warrior class, basic stats play a major role.
My god-tier status window is about to show me the detailed values of my basic stats.
