Chapter 410 - Chapter 409 – The Zerades Beam

Buzz!

A formless wave of energy burst outward — before Nagano's fist could even touch Greeza, the sheer force sent him flying backwards through the air.

He steadied himself midair, then dove straight back toward Greeza.

Another invisible shockwave erupted from Greeza's body. Nagano was blasted away again.

But he didn't give up. Regaining control, he charged forward once more.

Over and over, he was struck down — and over and over, he rose again.

Then, something changed.

Greeza's body began to flicker and distort, as though its form was losing cohesion. Faint shadows wavered within its shape, and from its unstable body leaked a surge of radiant energy.

"What's going on?" Nagano muttered, halting his advance.

Purple lightning crackled wildly from Greeza's yellow head, arcing in all directions and blasting the nearby ruins.

Blue spectral hands surged out from its chest like phantoms, clawing at the air in a desperate attempt to devour everything around.

One beam of light.

Two beams.

Three.

Four…

Countless streaks of light poured out from Greeza's body as it trembled violently, its eerie wailing echoing across the desolate land — like a creature reaching its limit.

Time to finish this!

The thought flashed in Nagano's mind. Without hesitation, he raised his hand and fired an uncharged Zeperion Beam.

The instant the beam struck Greeza —

BOOM!!!

An earth-shattering explosion erupted!

Brilliant light burst from every inch of Greeza's body. The force of the blast sent even Nagano, who had fired the attack, tumbling through the air like a rag doll.

Flames filled the sky, and the immense burst of light scattered the black storm clouds above, letting a single ray of sunlight pierce through.

"What an incredible burst of energy…"

Nagano landed heavily, shielding himself from the searing aftermath. His heart pounded in awe.

That kind of explosion… surely that monster was finished.

Looking up, he saw the explosion's centre collapse inward, as though space itself was folding in. The burning fragments were drawn into it — and then, everything vanished.

From the sky, two tiny figures fell.

One of them was wrapped in a cocoon of light.

Yu Zhou gently laid Camearra down on the ground, then looked at the divine Sparklence in his hand.

A breeze swept by — and the Sparklence dissolved into shimmering light particles, drifting away from his palm.

"So… the energy's overloaded."

Yu Zhou gave a helpless smile.

After being swallowed by Greeza, his inner Light was already running low. He'd used part of it to protect Camearra, and with what little remained, unleashed Tiga's ultimate power —

The Zerades Beam.

That was the very move Shining Tiga once used in The Final Odyssey — the technique that annihilated Demonthor, even from within its own body.

And now, within Greeza's void, Yu Zhou had done the same — unleashing that brilliant power to obliterate the space itself.

The moment Greeza was hit, its unstable form couldn't endure the surge and detonated in a radiant explosion.

The cost, however, was steep.

Even the Sparklence was gone.

"But…" Yu Zhou looked down at Camearra's peaceful face and let out a relieved sigh.

As long as she was safe, it was enough.

"Greeza's been destroyed!"

"All thanks to Tiga!"

"We're saved!"

"The Earth is safe again!"

Cheers erupted through the Global Union Conference Hall.

The greatest threat to Earth — Greeza — had finally been defeated by Ultraman Tiga!

A representative from N Corp wiped the sweat from his brow, exhaling in relief. For now, Earth had been spared.

"That last attack that defeated Greeza…" one of the directors murmured. "It looked familiar."

Keichii frowned slightly. He had never cared much for Hasegawa's Final Odyssey script — the settings didn't quite align with his own additions to Tiga's lore.

"It's the Zerades Beam," Hasegawa replied. "The same ultimate move Tiga used to defeat Demonthor in Final Odyssey."

"I see," Keichii nodded in understanding.

"Heh… interesting."

The clouds that had briefly parted to let sunlight through now darkened once again as a low, rumbling voice echoed across the heavens.

Yu Zhou raised his head — and saw a towering, broad-shouldered giant descending slowly through the storm. His armour was black, and he wielded an iron rod that radiated malice.

"Belial…"

Yu Zhou's eyes narrowed.

Once, Belial had been considered an ally — but that time was long gone. Now, this might become his greatest challenge yet.

"Belial!"

Nagano too saw the dark giant descending and gasped.

Ultraman Belial — the fallen warrior of the Land of Light, the traitor who once stormed the City of Light itself and slaughtered countless Ultramen to steal the Plasma Spark.

A monster in his own right — one nearly as terrifying as Greeza.

As Nagano glanced toward the two figures who had fallen from the explosion, he hesitated, unsure who they were. After all, he'd been knocked out cold before the battle ended.

"Indeed… very interesting."

Another voice came from behind him — and before Nagano could react, a black spear pierced through his back!

Caught completely off guard, he cried out in pain and turned around — only to see a dark, armoured figure standing there, spear in hand, eyes glowing crimson.

"Dark Lugiel!"

Yu Zhou's expression hardened. He immediately recognized the attacker. So, Lugiel had managed to reclaim his Dark Spark Lance after all.

Nagano collapsed, reverting from Tiga back into human form.

Perhaps deeming him harmless now, Lugiel didn't finish him off. Instead, he began walking toward Yu Zhou and Camearra.

At the same time, Belial landed from the clouds, stepping toward them as well.

"So… you're the Shining Tiga from earlier, aren't you?"

Belial rested his Ultimate Battle Device on his shoulder, pointing at Yu Zhou with a smirk.

"I'm not. You've got the wrong guy," Yu Zhou said flatly.

With Dark Lugiel right beside him, the last thing he needed was Belial realizing he was the same Tiga who had kicked Lugiel's groin earlier.

"I saw it from the sky," Belial replied coolly. "You're him."

Yu Zhou: "…"

Was this guy dense or what? Why ask if he already knew?

"Belial… are you stupid or something?" Yu Zhou said bluntly.

Both Dark Lugiel and Belial froze for a moment — surprised that this small human dared talk to them like that.

They hadn't expected someone with such courage… or recklessness.
