In the end, Renjiro didn't act on the rather wild idea that had popped into his head.
Because if he crossed the line, he worried Freya might fly into a rage, call Ottar in, and have him chopped into pieces on the spot.
So instead,
"Hahahaha~"
When his more outrageous tricks to shatter the sultry mood were off the table, Renjiro resorted to the next best thing: tickling Freya.
Fortunately, the goddess of beauty wasn't entirely immune to ticklishness.
Otherwise, he really wouldn't have known how to handle what came next.
In any case, after some harmless fooling around,
"Hmph. Take it. This is your Personal Status."
Freya, it seemed, had noticed his subtle refusal. Perhaps she was saving the "main course" for another time. Unable to read the essence of his soul, she couldn't derive the pleasure she usually enjoyed, so she didn't press further.
Instead, she handed him a sheet of parchment, on which she had neatly translated and copied all of his stats.
As Renjiro reached out to take it, she gave him a reminder:
"Your abilities are… a bit too unusual. I've locked and hidden everything."
"Though, be warned, there's a drug on the black market that can unlock statuses. If you don't want trouble, keep your guard up."
"Of course, my Familia has never been afraid of trouble."
"As for you, do as you see fit."
When she spoke that last line, Freya radiated sheer, unshakable confidence,
the kind of arrogance that came from her immense power and influence.
Unfortunately for her…
"Mhm, mhm~"
Renjiro only nodded absently, already utterly absorbed in the sheet of parchment in his hands.
The first thing that caught his eye was his name.
"Romanized, huh? Guess they tweaked it to better fit the flavor of this fantasy world."
"Not bad. If people assume I'm from some far eastern land here, it'll save me a lot of questions."
He thought quietly to himself.
Honestly, he hardly ever used his surname outside of filling in forms. Even his closest friends back home rarely called him by his full name.
Cough.
Back to the point.
Looking past the basic stats, which, unsurprisingly, were all at the initial i-0 level, Renjiro carefully studied the details of his three magics.
As expected,
"Pretty much matches what the system told me."
That confirmed his confidence.
So he shifted his focus to his sole unique Skill.
================
Ad Astra Abyssosque (Starry Abyss)
Greatly enhances the efficiency of mana recovery.
While under the stars, recovery doubles.
Beneath the night sky, recovery doubles again.
The closer one is to an area tied to the concept of the Abyss, the faster the recovery.
================
"Now that's good stuff!"
Without a doubt, this skill was exactly what Renjiro needed. A lifeline in the snow.
Because according to the system, while each of his "Genshin Avatars" had their own independent Status, in practice, Renjiro was like a Master from the Fate universe,
more specifically, like Fujimaru Ritsuka, able to support multiple Servants simultaneously thanks to a certain round table vow.
In other words: even though Paimon Manifestation and Traveler twins didn't consume much mana on their own, as soon as he used Genshin Descent, his magical expenses skyrocketed.
So if his mana recovery could keep doubling…
"Given time, I could eventually sustain a full-power, all-hands-on-deck state around the clock."
The thought filled him with anticipation.
For now,
"Let's see… at my current Blessing level, Lv.1, I can maintain up to five Avatars in the field at once, as long as I have enough Character Cards."
"With my initial mana pool… running full capacity, all five Avatars at once, I can last about three minutes. Fewer summons means longer uptime; a solo Avatar could fight alongside me for fifteen minutes."
"But if I'm under the night sky, or better yet, within an Abyss-like zone, I can stretch that time further."
"And if I only combine Paimon Manifestation and Traveler twins, both low-consumption spells, I can still fight at full output for about the same duration."
There was one more detail worth noting.
When Renjiro first received his Blessing, his mana stat had been i-0.
But now, thanks to the perfect fusion and binding of the Genshin System with this world's power structure, he had already begun to grow.
So if Freya updated his Status again right now, his magic stat would no longer be zero.
Not that he planned to announce it. Best to keep that to himself.
More importantly,
"If I activate all three, Paimon Manifestation, Genshin Descent, and Traveler twins, then even at this early stage, I basically become an eight-person party with perfect teamwork."
"And as my Blessing level rises, the scale of that party will only keep increasing."
What did that mean?
Any seasoned adventurer knew: the deeper you went into the Dungeon, the more you realized the value of companions.
The Dungeon was alive.
Ever since the gods descended a thousand years ago, the Lower World's labyrinth had proven itself merciless. From the Middle Floors onward (beneath the 13th), unexpected crises were constant.
Monsters there couldn't even be compared to those in the Upper Floors, which many veterans treated as little more than a playground.
From the Middle Floors downward, the Dungeon only grew larger, and ever more dangerous.
At that point, even a single extra ally could solve countless problems.
And truly trustworthy allies? Rare as diamonds.
Especially in Orario, where betrayal was as common as the air.
But Renjiro? He never had to worry about that.
First things first, though,
"I'll need to get my hands on some more Character Cards."
