Chapter 25 - Blindfold of Silk!

"Where are we going?" she asked, half-whisper, half-breath.

"You'll see," he said, the corner of his mouth twitching into that unreadable smile !

He pushed the hidden door open. The room smelled faintly of spice, intimate, private. SEXY ! Books lined one wall. It felt like his world of DIRTY secrets !

Maya hesitated on the threshold. "You've had this all along?"

Daniel nodded, stepping behind her so that his voice brushed the shell of her ear.

"Some places," he said quietly, "are for moments that can't exist anywhere else."

His hand rested at her back, guiding her farther in. She could feel the warmth of his skin even through the fabric of her dress.

The door closed softly, and for a long moment, neither of them moved.

"Why show me this?" she asked finally.

"Because you're the only one I trust enough to bring here," Daniel answered, "And because I don't want to keep pretending this doesn't mean something."

Maya stood barefoot by the window, heart hammering as Daniel held up a strip of black silk between his fingers.

"You're not serious," she whispered, watching the blindfold sway !!

"I'm completely serious," Daniel replied,

He stepped closer until his breath warmed her ear. "You're always the one in control. Tonight—" his hand tilted her chin upward, firm but careful "—you don't get to be."

Her pulse jumped. "And if I don't want to?"

"Then you'll end up wanting it more," he murmured, a glint of challenge in his eyes. The kind of glint to… pull him closer.

Before she could argue, the silk slid over her eyes, plunging her into darkness.

She gasped,

Reaching instinctively, but his fingers caught her wrist — a warning.

Her world shifted. Sight gone, every sound sharpened:

the faint scrape of leather, the soft click of a drawer, Daniel's slow footsteps circling her ,taking his time.

"Daniel…" her voice broke on his name.

"Say it again," he whispered from behind. "Say it like you need me."

She swallowed hard. "Daniel."

"Good."

Something soft brushed her arm , not his hand. Her skin prickled under the gentle drag of a feather, sweeping over her shoulder, down her stomach. She shivered, jerking back.

"Too much?" he teased.

"I wasn't ready—"

"That's the point." His chuckle was low, dark, knowing.

The feather vanished. A moment later something cool traced her spine , an ice cube skating down slowly. She gasped, twisting in place.

"Still," Daniel murmured.

She froze, trembling, lips parted, screaming with the unbearable mix of cold and heat, pain and thrill.

"Good girl," he whispered, brushing a kiss just beneath her ear. "See how easy it is? Letting go."

Her chest rose and fell in ragged breaths. "You're enjoying this too much."

"Oh, Maya," he drawled, the feather returning to follow the path the ice had burned. "I've barely started."

Her protest dissolved into a gasp as the feather traced lower, lingering just where she was most

sensitive,

circling,

teasing,

drawing her closer

and closer without breaking the game. Her body betrayed her, arching toward the sensation, desperate and confused.

"You feel that?" Daniel asked, his voice husky with taunt. "That's what surrender tastes like. Sweet. Shaky. Addictive."

She shook her head blindly. "You're insane."

"And you're mine." His words landed heavier than any touch, leaving her breathless, trembling in the dark with only Daniel's voice to cling to.

He moved behind her then, his chest brushing her back, his breath hot against her neck, his hands sliding slowly down her sides. She gasped, sharp and loud, the sound slipping out before she could stop it.

He stilled deliberately, letting her feel every inch of the pressure of his body.

"Scared?" he asked softly,

tone mock-innocence.

Her face burned under the blindfold, her body betraying her with a shiver she couldn't hide. "You're making me—" She couldn't even finish the sentence.

"That's exactly what I want," he murmured

against her skin.

His grip tightened at her hips, his lips brushing her shoulder as his hands roamed, drawing out every tremble. "And I will… until you can't think about anything else."
