"I think we should lay off the tequila. There are already four of you each," I slur, trying to push myself up from the couch, but I just slump back again.
The girls all laugh, shouting their own nonsense, because we're all drunk and ridiculously happy.
"I like the buzz it gives me in my brain," Thea slurs, lying upside down across the couch.
Rhea, sprawled on the floor with her head buried in a pillow, giggles uncontrollably. "Me too!"
"This is such a bad idea," Bianca groans, pouring herself another glass of tequila but Kalliope snatches it immediately and downs the shot in one go.
Priya, sitting next to her, giggles, while Bianca just rubs her temples and frowns.
Anastasia is the only one knocked out completely, and I'm still a little shocked that she and I are even talking now, considering our… less-than-stellar first impression.
