Chapter 246 - Chapter 246: The Mission Begins, and It’s a King Bomb!

"It's on! I bet God Shura won't get a Super God evaluation tonight! If he does, I'll live stream myself eating shit! Who dares to bet with me?"

—"Front row—waiting for the host's gourmet livestream!"

—"LMAO. Noted your ID. I believe in God Shura, I'll bet against you!"

—"This host is shameless. Just looking for an excuse to eat for free again."

—"Jokes aside, the '[Final Destination]' dungeon is no joke. I have a friend who's already B-rank overall. He entered this copy last month and… never came back."

—"Agreed. Everyone knows how terrifying this dungeon is. No matter how powerful God Shura is, getting a Super God evaluation is nearly impossible!"

The thread was blowing up.

Posted just that afternoon, it already had over 4,000 views and more than 1,000 replies.

The buzz alone was proof enough: [Final Destination] was one of the hottest—and most feared—dungeons in the Samsara system.

Among veteran Samsaras, it had earned legendary status for one reason:

Death itself.

The entire dungeon was centered around it. Not just dying, but being relentlessly hunted by Death. Its reputation alone was enough to deter most.

As for the thread's topic... if Fenric's primary plan failed, even he wasn't sure he'd make it out alive.

By midnight.

Fenric materialized in the Samsara Space.

He had originally planned to consult Aurora about the details of the [Final Destination] dungeon. But neither she nor Belle were online. No sign of either of them.

Well, so be it.

Thankfully, Fenric still had two Cooldown Refresh Cards on hand—enough to keep moving forward for now.

In Samsara Space, there was no such thing as a guaranteed life-saving item. Even legendary gear couldn't promise survival in this dungeon.

After giving it some thought, Fenric walked straight toward the gate of the Samsara Tower.

He activated a Cooldown Refresh Card and instantly reset his dungeon timer, stepping through the gate without hesitation—and arriving on the tenth floor.

As always, a familiar voice greeted him.

A small elf spirit appeared out of thin air and floated beside him.

"Hello, dear Samsara Player Shura. What kind of assistance do you need?"

"Enter a dungeon," Fenric replied simply.

"The dungeon on this floor is the major assessment copy, [Final Destination]. Are you sure you wish to proceed?"

"I'm sure."

As soon as he confirmed, a white flash enveloped Fenric. He was teleported into a pristine white waiting room.

There weren't many people inside.

At a glance, Fenric counted just over a dozen Samsaras.

For a major assessment dungeon like this—especially one tied to a famous film IP—this turnout was shockingly low.

In other high-profile dungeons he'd experienced—One Piece, 2012, Avengers, Three Kingdoms—there were always over a hundred participants.

Only seventeen had entered [Final Destination] this time.

It said everything about this dungeon's reputation.

It scared off even seasoned Samsaras.

As Fenric appeared, a small commotion rippled through the room.

"Whoa—he's here! God Shura has arrived!"

"He's really punctual, huh?"

"Well, in this dungeon, we all have to face Death. No point competing."

"Did you guys see the forum posts? Think Shura can get a Super God evaluation this time?"

"Hard to say. This copy's brutal. I'm just hoping to survive two days and bail."

"Even God Shura is just one man. Miracles or not, this one's next level."

"Eh, it's not like he's gonna carry us anyway. Look out for yourselves."

Amid the chatter, the system voice echoed through the room:

"Attention all Samsara players. Mission world teleportation will begin in 10 minutes."

Fenric did a quick count. Including himself, there were only seventeen participants till the end.

Rare.

The countdown flew by.

"Teleportation countdown: 10... 9... 8... 3... 2... 1!"

A flash of crimson light enveloped everyone in the room.

When Fenric opened his eyes again, he was already on an airplane.

Crowded rows of cheap seats confirmed it—he was in economy class.

All around him sat foreigners with blond hair and blue eyes.

"Ladies and gentlemen," a flight attendant's sweet voice came over the intercom. "Flight 180 to Paris is about to take off. Please fasten your seatbelts and secure your belongings."

Right on cue, a blond-haired youth shot to his feet, panic in his eyes.

"This plane is going to explode! It's gonna blow up!"

Fenric smirked slightly.

He recognized the scene instantly.

This young man had just foreseen the future—he'd seen the explosion.

His friend beside him tried to calm him down.

"Alex, not funny! This joke is getting old."

"No, I'm serious! It's going to explode!" the blonde youth yelled.

His outburst drew everyone's attention.

Passengers all around stared at him as if he were insane.

A flight attendant rushed over, speaking in a firm tone.

"Sir, please calm down or we'll have to ask you to disembark."

"I don't need to be asked—I'll get off on my own! I want off this plane!" the young man shouted.

Eventually, the airline had no choice. He was escorted off.

A few of his reluctant friends followed, thinking he'd lost his mind.

And then—one after another—the Samsara players began to rise and follow.

Seeing the growing line, the flight attendant tried to reassure them:

"Gentlemen, our aircraft are inspected regularly. There's no danger."

But the Samsaras ignored her and exited one by one.

Roughly a third of the passengers vacated the economy section.

As soon as they were out on the tarmac, someone spoke up in the group:

"Wait... something's off. Weren't there 17 of us who entered this copy? Why are there only 16 here now? Who didn't get off the plane?"

The mood immediately shifted.

"No way... someone stayed behind?! Are you kidding me?"

"Seriously? Didn't they read the guide?!"

"F@*k! There's definitely someone missing. Who the hell is it?!"
