Chapter 38 - First Victory

And then it happened: the set of equations being penned down on the blackboard completely blew apart common sense.

During these three minutes of diligently performing my task, no one disturbed, no better to say- They dare not disturb!

"It's done."

After doing this impossible task, I was full of smugness.

With an attitude, I threw the half-left chalk in my hand into the dustbin.

"Teacher, to be honest, all the things you told me to answer were not even covered in the class, I don't know where I provoked you...."

"...but luckily, I am a hard-working student who had done a considerable amount of study in advance so I was able to pass this daunting test."

My words inflicted a dimensional-reduction blow to Beatrix who had long been flabbergasted.

Standing near the podium, the utter disbelief was still vividly written on her face.

I actually didn't need to rub in Beatrix's nose with my fierce reply, but I did it anyway.
