The air in the garden grew heavier. Lin Shan raised his palm slightly, and the invisible pressure multiplied again. Even the ground beneath their feet began to tremble.
Lin Yue's silver mist flickered, his knees bending as the strain deepened. Lin Feng's pale-blue aura cracked, his face turning white before one knee finally touched the ground.
A soft sound followed — thud.
The old man's sharp gaze didn't waver. Instead, a faint smile crept across his lips.
"At least you're better than before," Lin Shan said, his voice calm but filled with quiet pride. "Two at the fifth level, three at the sixth… and two of you nearing the peak of it. Not bad."
With a flick of his sleeve, the overwhelming pressure vanished.
The air lightened instantly, and all five brothers drew deep breaths as if surfacing from water.
Lin Feng exhaled heavily, sweat dripping down his neck. Lin Yue rubbed his shoulder with a dry laugh. "Still the same monster…"
Lin Chen shot him a sideways glance. "At least we're not crawling this time."
Lin Hao smiled faintly but his gaze shifted toward Lin Zhan and Lin Chen — the second and fifth brothers. Both of them stood steady throughout, hardly showing strain. A flicker of surprise crossed even his calm expression.
The two youngest… are the strongest?
Lin Shan's eyes lingered on them as if reading their thoughts. "Don't get too comfortable," he said evenly. "Your ten years of training are over, but your next path won't be any easier."
His expression hardened slightly. "Tomorrow morning, you will all report to the Jade Blood Marrow Pool."
The moment those words fell, silence spread among the five.
Even Lin Yue's usual grin disappeared. Lin Feng's lips parted slightly, disbelief flickering in his eyes.
Lin Zhan's mind, however, stirred differently.
The Jade Blood Marrow Pool…
Fragments of memories surfaced — not his own, but the ones belonging to this body's original owner. The pool was one of the Lin family's most guarded secrets — a place said to refine bloodlines, strengthen marrow, and awaken dormant power.
Even within the family, few were allowed entry.
He clenched his fist quietly. So… I'll finally see it with my own eyes.
Lin Shan's tone softened slightly. "You've done well. Rest for today. Starting tomorrow, your real training begins."
He turned and disappeared — not walked, not teleported in any flashy light — simply gone, like a flame extinguished without a trace.
The brothers stood in silence for a moment. Then Lin Yue let out a low whistle. "Jade Blood Marrow Pool, huh? Looks like the old man are in rush."
Lin Chen smirked. "Or he's planning to break us again."
Lin Zhan chuckled faintly, then bid them before heading down the corridor alone.
The hallways of the Lin estate were quiet but grand. The soft hum of energy systems echoed faintly through the walls. When Lin Zhan reached his old quarters, the door slid open with a gentle chime.
Inside, the room was grand yet strangely familiar — wide glass windows overlooking the glowing city, a dark wooden bed that could easily fit three people, shelves of data tablets and half-open books.
He sat down on the bed, exhaled softly, and closed his eyes.
Memories drifted in.
Four years ago…
He wasn't Lin Zhan. He was just an ordinary college student — tired, average, living somewhere in a small city. Then one night came the blinding headlights of a truck as he died on the road.
When he opened his eyes again, he was here — in another body. At first he thought it was only change in his body. But then with original Lin zhan memory, he know about those fantasy things in this new version of earth.
It was a familiar world, yet not the same.
It was still same for most of people in this world. Except for some of those, called Martial artist. With their own different talents, they hold most of power in world.
"What's matter as i have my system. I will surely rise to the top as like those novel characters." Lin Zhan didn't think too much after his system. After the shock, he was filled with ecstasy!
As a time traveler, he naturally understood the significance of the system. It meant he had the chance to defy fate and reach the pinnacle of his powers!
"But these family members are really ruthless. Even after having such powers, they left their family children out."
Lin Zhan cursed those family elders for such harsh training. Clearly his own life in last few years is as hard that only he knows. He even have to relay on his.... Lets not talk about it.
"But those matters end here. First i have to rest on such fluffy bed... Ahhh how long have been when i have such peaceful sleep..."
As like Mummy, he straight down to sleep....

The next morning, sunlight streamed through the smart-glass windows, automatically adjusting its brightness to match his body rhythm.
Lin Zhan stretched lazily, the soft bed almost refusing to let him go.
"Damn… this bed alone can make a man forget cultivation," he muttered, yawning.
After a long hot shower — the kind that adjusted temperature according to body heat — he put on the family uniform that the system recommended from the wardrobe.
Black-silver lines traced through even his casual wear looked like something out of a sci-fi movie. The material was smooth and cool to the touch, adjusting perfectly to his body shape.
As he stood before the mirror, Lin Zhan couldn't help but grin.
The reflection staring back at him was no longer the tired, broke young man who used to run to catch the city bus.
Now, his sharp eyes gleamed faintly with power, and his well-built body radiated a natural strength. Even without trying, he looked like a young master from a powerful lineage — confident, refined, and dangerous.
"Haah… not bad, Lin Zhan. You've upgraded from instant noodles to interstellar luxury Pappardelle al ragù."
He smirked, tapping his cheek lightly. "If only that girl from my college could see me now…"
He sighed and walked out of the room. The automatic door slid open with a whisper, revealing a wide corridor glowing with faint blue lights.
As he moved through the corridor, a familiar voice called from behind.
"Fifth Young Master, you're awake early," said Butler He, his tone gentle but respectful.
Lin Zhan turned, smiling. "Can't sleep forever, Butler He. Grandpa would probably throw me into a volcano if I slacked off any longer."
The old man chuckled softly. "You're not wrong. The Patriarch has already scheduled your entry into the Jade Blood Marrow Pool in just half a hour."
Lin Zhan's smile froze. "Already?"
Butler He nodded. "The Patriarch said, 'If he can sleep peacefully tonight, then he's ready for tomorrow.' His exact words, Young Master."
Lin Zhan's face twitched. "That old man really loves his dramatic timing…"
But deep down, a spark of excitement flickered in his chest. The Jade Blood Marrow Pool — the sacred training ground said to instant power speed dose for first timers.
"Alright," he muttered under his breath, a small grin forming.
