The ground again shook beneath their feet.
Sagiri turned away from Lira and looked toward Rika, who was still chained against the rock wall. The woman could barely keep her head up. Dark veins covered her skin, and blood ran from the corner of her mouth. Her own body was failing her.
Kiana followed Sagiri as he approached the chains.
Rika raised her head when she saw them. A weak laugh escaped her throat before turning into a cough.
"What are you waiting for?" she asked. "Just kill me."
Sagiri stopped in front of her.
"I ordered your squad and you to be killed in the south," Rika continued. "I gave Sir Black everything he needed. I tried to take the Archive from you. So go ahead. Finish what it, nephew."
Sagiri looked at her for a moment before sinking to a crouch.
"The people who died can't come back," he said. "But there are still things we need to know."
