In this world, there existed several mysterious forces, but the ones commoners understood best were the Knights.
Knights were warriors who had gone through grueling training, stimulating the hidden life energy within their bodies. Their physical attributes far surpassed those of ordinary humans.
To become a Magus required an innate gift ,something so rare that among tens of thousands, there might not be even one person with the potential. But to become a Knight? That path was open to anyone with the will to suffer and endure.
For these Knights, physical strength was only the beginning. They were masters of weaponry, killing techniques, and in rare cases, secret combat arts that could unleash bursts of terrifying power. The kingdoms of the mortal world, and even most noble houses, were built on the backs of such men.
"Knight training is basically like Demon Slayer's breathing techniques," Adem muttered, recalling fragments of the novels and shows from his old world. "Maximizing oxygen intake to boost physical abilities to their limit."
He exhaled slowly, studying his hands calloused yet small, belonging to a boy of twelve. "But control and bodily strength are the foundation. I need to start getting used to this body and build strength immediately."
He wasn't like Leylin, whose father had personally taught him a Knight's secret art - the Cross Blade Technique. Adem's grandfather, on the other hand, had only helped him train his body, always saying he was "too weak to learn such techniques yet" before falling ill.
Now, with no mentor and no family left, all he had were his cheats.
He approached one of the black-robed knights accompanying the group and borrowed a spear.
"A spear's much easier to learn than a sword," he muttered, testing its weight in his hands. "Even though I've always loved swords more."
He walked out to an open patch of ground near the camp and began his training.
Thrust. Swipe. Cut. Downward strike.
Each motion started clumsy but gradually sharpened as he moved. After only a few minutes, his form stabilized, his stance firming with instinctive precision.
He smirked, lowering the spear. "At this rate, I could probably take on a Grand Knight in a few days. I love cheats."
It was the combined power of High Comprehension and Force Control at work , one refining his technique, the other synchronizing every muscle and breath to perfection. They meshed together seamlessly, almost frighteningly well.
Now, to unlock what people here called the hidden life force, Adem closed his eyes and focused on his breathing.
"Take a long, deep breath in… three short breaths out… and sync it with the spear movements," he whispered to himself.
The first few tries left him gasping, his chest burning from the effort. But after a few minutes of adjustment, his breathing began to fall into rhythm. Each motion felt sharper, cleaner , the spear cutting through the air with precision he hadn't shown before.
Then came the surge. His body felt lighter, faster, almost superhuman for brief moments. But the strain was immense; his muscles trembled, veins pulsing from the sudden overload of oxygen and energy.
He finally sat down, crossing his legs in a meditative pose as he steadied his breath.
"Let's try to absorb those floating particles," he murmured, gazing at the faint glimmers drifting in the air , particles of pure energy, what he preferred to call mana.
He extended his senses slightly, trying to draw them in, but quickly stopped himself with a grimace.
"No… too suspicious. If those three white-robed Acolytes notice me absorbing mana without formal education or a spell model, I'll end up dissected on some lab table before dinner."
He chuckled quietly to himself at the thought, though the underlying fear was real.

Please do tell me the areas I need to improve on .
If u like the story u can just drop your stones here, they'll be real safe with me .
Creation is hard but someone has to it.
I'll be reading WOTMW to make sure I still get the timeline/plot correctly.
Leylin is one of my favorite MC'S of all- time , so I won't make him a dumb potato to make my Mc shine . The Mc is not a cunning fox or anything like that but that doesn't mean he'll get toyed with . And don't worry he won't go around collecting women like pokemon, I ain't even sure if I should add romance?
