Sydney - Australia
"Mr. Arin, are you sure you want to go back to Bangkok tomorrow?"
Anan's voice broke the quiet hum of the car engine.
( Anan kiet : Arin's manager )
His eyes met Arin's through the rearview mirror as the morning sun flickered across the glass.
"I've already completed my work here,"
Arin replied calmly, leaning back in the seat.
"The movie released last month, and the reviews turned out even better than I hoped. All the interviews went well too. I think it's finally time to go home."
He looked out the window, taking a slow sip of his black coffee as the busy Sydney streets blurred by.
"But the other co-actors are staying for another month. Why are you—"
"I'm missing home," Arin interrupted quietly.
His voice softened. "I want to spend some time with Dad… and visit Mom too. It's been a year."
For a moment, silence filled the car. The light laughter from a café outside drifted in through the half-open window, brushing against the heaviness in his tone.
Then Anan's voice came again — this time playful.
"Then why are you taking a six-month break and leaving me, huh?!" he said dramatically, making a funny face in the mirror.
That made Arin laugh. "Mr. Kiet , I just want to take Dad on a trip somewhere. Maybe travel a little, relex a bit and spend some time with myself."
Anan smirked. "Then send me pictures wherever you go. I'll post them on social media — write, 'Handsome Arin is on a healing trip!' It'll blow up in minutes."
Both of them burst into laughter, the tension melting away as the car continued down the bright Sydney road, sunlight glinting off glass buildings and the ocean breeze sneaking in through the window.
After some time, they reached the venue.
"Arin… Arin… Arin!"
A sea of fans erupted, screaming his name. Some held up brightly colored boards with his name on them, waving frantically.
Anan got out of the car first and opened the door for Arin.
Arin stepped out with a warm smile, waving to the crowd. He walked toward the gate, stopping briefly to sign a few papers and books for the fans who had gathered at the front.
After a couple of hours, the event began.
"Today, we have some very special actors with us — the stars of the recent series that gained incredible views and created quite the sensation!"
the interviewer announced in an enthusiastic tone. The audience went wild, cheering loudly, waving boards with the names Arin, Thanapon, Kanya, and Fah proudly displayed.
"Please welcome… Arin Rattanakul and his co-star Kanya vongsak!" the interviewer said, standing up to warmly welcome them. Arin and Kanya walked in gracefully and took their seats on the sofa.
"Now it's time for our second lead couple," the interviewer continued, smiling broadly.
"Please give a warm welcome to Thanapon Veerakul and Fah Srisai!"
After the four actors settled comfortably on the sofa, they began sharing stories from filming. The interviewer laughed along as Kanya described the long hours of shooting under the Sydney sun, while Fah teased Thanapon about forgetting his lines during a romantic scene.
The audience burst into laughter, the energy in the room light and full of excitement.
Once they wrapped up talking about their experiences, the interviewer smiled and leaned forward. "That was amazing to hear! You guys clearly had such a fun time filming together. Now…" he paused for dramatic effect, and the crowd instantly grew louder, anticipating what was next. "I think it's time for everyone's favorite part — the fan Q&A session!"
The fans screamed with excitement, waving boards with the actors' names and hearts drawn all over them. Some even stood up, hoping to be chosen.
"Alright, let's start with a question for Kanya!" the interviewer announced, pointing to a fan holding a bright pink poster.
The girl nervously took the microphone. "Kanya, what was your favorite scene to shoot with Arin?"
Kanya giggled softly. "Hmm… probably the one where our characters argued in the rain. It was emotional but funny because Arin kept sneezing after every take!"
The audience laughed, and Arin shyly rubbed the back of his neck. "It was freezing, okay?" he said, smiling sheepishly, which only made the crowd cheer louder.
Next, another fan got the mic. "Thanapon, Fah — your chemistry was so good on screen! Are you guys friends in real life too?"
Fah nodded quickly. "Of course! We hang out all the time, especially for food."
Thanapon laughed. "Yeah, she only calls me when she's hungry."
The audience erupted in laughter again, clapping at their playful banter.
The interviewer chuckled. "I love this energy! Alright, now let's move to the next question. This one's for Arin."
The crowd immediately grew louder, chanting his name — "Arin! Arin! Arin!"
The interviewer handed the mic to a fan in the front row. "Arin, are you in a relationship right now? And what's your opinion on love and commitment?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly from excitement.
Arin chuckled softly and leaned back a little. "I'm single right now. It's been about seven months since Prae and I decided to part ways… and we did it maturely. I hope everyone respects that."
He paused for a moment, his tone calm but thoughtful.
"About love and commitment… I think if you like someone, don't waste your time. Make your move, because who knows what could happen tomorrow. But while you're trying, don't forget the most important person — yourself. Respect the other person's decisions, don't force anything, and remember not to lose yourself in the process. Life doesn't always give second chances, but if it's meant to be, it will find its way naturally."
The hall fell quiet for a moment — his answer soft yet powerful. Then, applause filled the room. Fans cheered his name again, some even tearing up from how heartfelt his words sounded.
The interviewer smiled and nodded. "Well said, Arin. Truly."
The event finally came to an end after what felt like hours of bright lights, laughter, and endless fan cheers. The four actors stood up, bowed politely, and waved one last time.
"Thank you for your love and support!" Kanya said warmly, while Fah blew a playful kiss toward the crowd.
After a couple of minutes, they made their way backstage and toward the exit.
Backstage, the energy was different — quieter, warmer. Staff members congratulated them while handing out bottles of water and collecting their mics.
"Finally done," Kanya sighed in relief, stretching her arms. "I thought my cheeks would fall off from smiling so much."
Thanapon chuckled. "You looked fine. Arin was the one blushing every time a fan screamed his name."
Arin shot him a playful glare. "That's not true."
Fah laughed softly. "Oh, come on, everyone saw that. You even forgot to wave for a second."
Arin just smiled and shook his head, slinging his bag over his shoulder. "You guys are impossible."
Once they reached the car, the teasing began again.
"Kiet, what's making you smile like that while staring at your phone?" Thanapon asked, leaning closer suspiciously.
"Oi, oi! Don't look at it!" Kiet said quickly, hiding his phone and giving Thanapon a playful shove.
Everyone burst out laughing. Arin shook his head with a small grin as they got into the car. The city lights of Sydney blurred past the tinted windows, and their laughter filled the ride.
"So, are you really flying back to Bangkok tomorrow?" Kanya asked curiously, turning to Arin.
Arin sighed softly, throwing a glance at Kiet, who immediately looked away with an awkward smile — clearly guilty of spilling the news.
"You're hopeless," Arin muttered under his breath, then smiled at Kanya. "Yeah, I'm heading back. You all already know — I'm taking six months off. I want to spend some time with Dad, travel a bit… just breathe for a while."
"Good for you," Fah said sincerely. "Enjoy your time, and don't forget to post pictures, okay? Your fans will go crazy waiting for updates."
"And don't forget your important things like last time," she added, smacking his arm lightly.
The whole car burst into laughter again.
Thanapon leaned back, looking out the window. "You'll be missed, bro. It won't be the same without you."
Arin smiled faintly. "I'll miss you guys too. But I'll come back before you even realize it."
As the laughter slowly faded, the car filled with a comfortable silence. Outside, the Sydney skyline gleamed under the fading sunlight — a city that had given them memories, fame, and moments they'd never forget.
For a brief moment, Arin looked out the window, his smile softening. There was something heavy in his eyes — a longing for home, and maybe, for something more he couldn't name yet.
Later that night, Arin stood alone on the hotel balcony, the cool Sydney breeze brushing against his face. The city glittered beneath him — calm, peaceful. He leaned against the railing, staring at the distant lights.
His thoughts drifted. To his mother. To his father waiting back home. To the year that had changed everything — the fame, the series, the constant movement.
For a brief moment, he closed his eyes and exhaled deeply. "Just a little more," he murmured to himself. "Then I'll finally rest."
Behind him, his phone buzzed with unread messages, but he didn't reach for it.
The night was too quiet, too honest — a moment he wanted to keep just for himself.
The morning light slipped through the curtains, painting soft streaks across the room. Arin rubbed his eyes, stretched lazily, and let out a quiet yawn. Today was the day.
After getting ready, he zipped up his suitcase and gave the room one last look before heading downstairs. His phone buzzed — a message from Anan:
[ "Outside. Hurry before I leave you here 😒." ]
A faint smile crossed Arin's face as he grabbed his bag and stepped out.
The drive was quiet at first — calm streets, a soft playlist playing in the background, and the distant hum of the city waking up.
"Do you have your passport and everything with you? You're not forgetting anything, right?" Anan asked while keeping his eyes on the road.
Arin turned to him dramatically. "Ask that one more time, and I swear I'll punch you."
Anan laughed, glancing at him. "Okay, okay, just checking, Mr. Superstar."
They both burst into laughter, the easy kind that comes from years of friendship.
A moment later, Anan's voice softened. "Don't forget me, or anyone, alright? I hope you come back soon — do more projects, become more famous… so I'll finally get a raise."
Arin chuckled, rolling his eyes. "For a second, I thought you were actually being serious."
"Who says I'm not?" Anan teased, grinning.
After a few more minutes of light talk, they reached the airport. The car slowed to a stop, and silence filled the air for a moment.
"We're gonna miss you, man," Anan said quietly. "But I wish you the best for your trip."
Arin smiled softly. "Miss you too, bro. We'll meet soon. Take care of yourself… and please, don't repost my photos, okay?"
Anan laughed. "No promises!"
They shared a quick hug before Arin grabbed his suitcase and stepped out. He waved one last time before walking toward the airport doors.
✈️ Bangkok, Thailand
Arin stepped out of the airport, stretching lightly after the long flight.
"Arin! Finally, bro!" a familiar voice called. His friend waved energetically as he came closer.
They hugged tightly. "How's it going, man?" his friend asked casually.
"Good, good… flight was smooth," Arin replied with a small grin. "And you? How's everything?"
His friend grinned, ruffling his hair slightly. "All good, man! Busy as always, but surviving. You know me — can't sit still for long.
They walked toward the car, chatting about random things — the latest series, fan reactions, and who had caused the most chaos during interviews.
"So… did Kanya manage to survive the fan questions today?" his friend teased.
"Barely! She almost fainted after the third one," Arin laughed.
Once inside the car, the conversation drifted to trivial things — music, recent movies, even the weird street food they had tried in Sydney. For a while, the city lights blurred past the tinted windows. Arin gazed outside, watching the skyline and the familiar buildings. Everything looks the same… yet it feels different, he thought, a soft sigh escaping his lips.
When they arrived at his home, Arin invited his friend in.
"Come on, you've got to see my dad," Arin said, smiling.
Inside, the scent of spices and cooking filled the kitchen. Arin's father was humming softly, chopping vegetables while listening to a playlist of old songs.
"Dadd!" Arin shouted, and his father jumped slightly in surprise.
They both burst out laughing before falling into a warm hug.
"I missed you so much, son," his father said, eyes glistening.
"I missed you and mom too, Dad," Arin replied, pulling back slightly, smiling softly.
"I didn't get a chance to visit her since… you know, it's been a year."
"We can go tomorrow, son," his father said gently, placing a comforting hand on Arin's shoulder. "We'll go together."
Arin smiled faintly. "I'd like that."
Dinner began, and the conversation flowed naturally, filled with casual chatter and laughter.
"So, Arin, any new projects coming up?" his father asked between bites.
"Not for now," Arin replied. "I'm taking a six-month break. Dad, we're going on a trip — just us. You'll have to tell the hospital you won't be available for a while."
His father paused mid-bite, looking at him with wide eyes. "When did you decide this? And why didn't you tell me?"
"I decided just a week ago," Arin said softly. "When you said you missed me and wanted to spend time together, I wanted to give you a surprise."
His father cleared his throat, a little flustered. "Last week in the hospital meeting, I signed a six-month contract for seminars abroad… I was going to tell you, but you already came home, and I was busy in packing and everything."
Arin looked down briefly, frowning. "Why didn't you tell me then, Dad?"
"I didn't want to disturb you," his father explained gently. "You've been so busy with interviews and work. I figured
we ' ll manage."
For a moment, both looked at each other, slightly confused, both a little sad.
"Why don't you go with your dad, Arin?" his friend interjected enthusiastically. "You want to travel and spend time together — this is perfect!"
Arin's father nodded. "He's right. It'll work out. You can combine both — your break and time with me."
Arin hesitated, then finally nodded. "Alright… I'll go."
"So, where and when?" Arin asked, curiosity lighting his expression.
"Next week, India," his father said warmly.
Arin's eyes lit up. "India… I've never been there. This will be interesting."
"You'll love it," his friend added with a grin. "So many new experiences, food, culture… you name it!"
"And don't forget, it's also a chance to spend some quality time together," his father added, smiling.
They laughed, teasing each other, imagining the trip and the adventures that awaited. Arin's father continued to encourage him, talking about places to see and experiences to cherish.
When dinner ended, Arin placed his dish in the sink, standing up.
"Okay, now you both can act normal," he said, grinning. "I'm convinced. We're going to India… let's see how this adventure goes."
His friend and father laughed, shaking their heads. "You're so stubborn ," his father said teasingly.
