In full view of Tony and the others, accompanied by a flash of light, a girl of about fourteen or fifteen suddenly appeared beside them.
"Where… am I? What's going on?"
At first, the girl looked completely bewildered, glancing left and right as if she didn't yet understand her situation.
But very quickly, her gaze fixed on Tony.
Looking at him, the young girl Wanda's eyes immediately turned red, and she lunged at him with claws out.
"Tony Stark, I'll fight you!"
"Eh? What are you doing?… Wait! Megatron, don't strike!"
Caught off guard by the girl's sudden attack, Tony was flustered and overwhelmed.
"Ah! Don't grab me!"
Trying both to restrain Megatron and subdue Wanda, Tony's hands were soon scratched in multiple places.
Strange shook his head as he watched, then pointed his right hand and instantly conjured a golden rope from thin air, tightly binding the girl.
At Kamar-Taj, Mordo's eyes narrowed, and his heart skipped a beat.
This magical rope wasn't a particularly advanced spell, yet until now, he had only ever seen Strange demonstrate it once.
Could it be… she had learned it just like that?
Strange himself was slightly stunned at the successful spell and instinctively looked at his own hands.
He could feel that after the Horse Talisman healed his hands, his mental state seemed to have been elevated as well.
The spells that had once baffled him now flowed as naturally as breathing, effortlessly cast at will!
"Damn you, Tony Stark! Even if I die, I'll curse you!"
Wanda's small face was flushed red as she cursed him furiously, completely immobilized by the magical ropes.
Seeing this, Tony scratched his head in frustration:
"Little girl, I can assure you I've never met you before. Why do you hate me so much?"
Wanda said with hatred:
"It's you! Your missiles killed my mom and dad!"
"Missiles?"
Tony's face darkened immediately.
Stark Industries was an arms company; selling missiles was naturally part of its business.
And if this girl's parents had indeed been killed by missiles he invented, such hatred… he didn't know how to resolve it.
Amid the awkward silence, Loki's light, cheerful voice suddenly spoke up:
"Little lady, I think I understand what's going on."
Pointing at Tony, Loki said calmly:
"I know—you want revenge on this little mustache. But… you've seen this giant robot, haven't you?"
Wanda, previously almost losing all rationality in anger, calmed slightly now that she was restrained.
Seeing Megatron towering ten meters tall, radiating an oppressive aura of terror, she shivered involuntarily, cold sweat breaking out along her spine.
A mechanical monster like this killing her would be like squashing an ant.
Seeing this, Loki grinned slyly:
"So, little girl, you can't possibly hurt him. But…"
His finger then turned toward the large screen in front of them.
"This screen… and even the owner of this space, will pose a question to you."
"As long as you answer correctly, you'll have the chance to receive rewards beyond imagination!"
"Perhaps… it could even help you take revenge."
Hearing Loki's voice, low and devilish like a whisper, Tony's expression shifted slightly, though he didn't know what to say.
[Thor: Brother, you really haven't changed at all—still as cunning as ever…]
[Loki Odinson: Oh, my dear brother, everything I've done is just to gain my freedom.]
[Peter Parker: I don't think seeking revenge like this is a good thing.]
[Loki Odinson: Kid, what do you know? Their parents were killed! Do you think a few words can resolve such hatred?]
[Peter Parker: ...]
Listening to Loki's manipulative words, Wanda unexpectedly calmed down completely and lifted her gaze to the large screen in the live stream room.
At that moment, the screen replayed the battle on Titan.
This earth-shattering battle left Wanda wide-eyed, nearly popping her eyeballs out in astonishment.
Especially when Thanos smashed Iron Man's helmet, revealing Tony's face inside, she shuddered in horror, inhaling sharply.
So Tony Stark… was actually this powerful!
With this in mind, how could she possibly avenge her parents?
When the system finally asked the question, Wanda froze completely, unable to speak for a long moment.
Meanwhile, at Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One watched the stunned little Wanda on the screen and suddenly felt an incredible thought arise in her mind.
"I see… Strange, this is how you thought about it in the future?"
The Ancient One let out a gentle sigh and said to Mordo beside her:
"You tell the girl inside for me. The correct answer is…"
"What?"
Mordo was dumbfounded, mouth agape, unable to believe it.
…
[Mordo: Little girl named Wanda, listen carefully. The correct answer is… Doctor Strange gave up the Time Stone in exchange for Tony Stark's life!]
[Stephen Strange: Are you kidding? How could that possibly be the correct answer?]
[Mordo: Don't ask me. The Ancient One told me to say this.]
[Mordo: The sorcerer probably feared that none of you would answer correctly and be trapped in the space forever, so she gave you this hint.]
[Stephen Strange: The Ancient One? Could it be… she…]
Already in a state of chaos, Wanda, hearing Mordo's guidance, instinctively opened her mouth and mimicked the answer.
The system quickly responded.
[Ding! Wanda Maximoff has submitted her answer. The Q&A system is now judging…]
[Ding! Wanda Maximoff's answer is correct!]
