"You are doing this because of Celine?" Lucas suddenly asked, with a dumbfounded expression on his face.
I didn't answer; the question didn't deserve an answer either.
He nodded and left.
I pulled out my phone and sent a message to Luciana's father.

To get her back, you have to pay in kind, by cutting off your right index finger and your thumb. Or you pay in cash, that is, seventy per cent of your dynasty's annual earnings for six years. You have twenty-four hours to make up your mind.
Either he would bankrupt himself, mutilate himself. That is what he gets for not getting a hold of his daughter and for aiding her in her reckless decision today.
