The audacity of Greg's family. I knew they weren't the warm type, but damn… seeing it with my own eyes? This was something else, on another level even.
Are families supposed to act like this? My family has problems too trust me, Nicholas and I argue all the time but at least we care about each other. At least there's love under all the chaos but these people? They looked at Greg like he was… nothing. As if he was a gum under their boots that they could squash.
Like he didn't belong here or as if he wasn't even one of them. The way they talked about his mom so casually and the way they brushed off his feelings and acted annoyed me because he dared to bring up something that hurt him? It pissed me off royally.
Greg… He tried to hide it, but I saw it, he was hurting and non of them fuckers didn't care, It was like watching someone get stabbed with a smile.
