Chapter 33 - Who Says Dinner Can’t Be a War Zone?

"Do you hate her?" I asked, curious.

Su Ye didn't even think before answering. He merely shrugged, completely unbothered. "Hate? Why would I waste energy on that? She's just a stranger to me. I feel nothing for her."

Then he tilted his head toward me, eyes narrowing with playful suspicion. "Why? Are you feeling jealous? Afraid someone might take me away from you?"

I gave him a bored look. "Yes, very jealous. If someone steals you, my life will become so much easier."

He froze. Then dramatically clutched his chest like he'd been stabbed. "Easier?! Am I such a burden to you? Oh… oh, my poor heart… it can't take such cruel words. Now it needs a kiss to be healed."

I burst out laughing. "Su Ye, you should become an actor, seriously. You'd win every award."
