Chase sits behind a tree, thinking. Maybe he should stop playing and just deal with his issues.
Riri's Rescue
Lizzy: "Take this, you stupid pieces of sh*t!"
Lizzy uses a spell—an electric shock—zapping anyone in her sight.
Lizzy: "That was easy. Anyway, Riri, are you okay?"
Lizzy runs to Riri, picking her avatar up and realizing that she is still alive, but also very low on health.
(In MMO (Monster Magic Online), when someone's health gets low, they start to get slower and weaker. Because the Metalhead Headset is able to tap into your nervous system, it can shut down your body if the in-game damage is severe enough.)
Riri: "I'm okay."
Lizzy: "You say that, but your health is so low you can't even move."
Riri: "Yeah, yeah. Just heal me already, babe."
Lizzy gently slaps her friend—or what we thought was her friend—saying to be quiet about that because nobody knows they are dating.
Riri: "Fine, babes."
Lizzy blushes while grabbing a healing crystal to restore Riri's health.
The Assault
Meanwhile, Sasha is hiding.
Random Guy: "Hey, girlie."
Sasha: "Oh, hi. Umm, do you need something?"
The man pushes Sasha against a wall.
Sasha: "Hey, what the hell! Ma—"
Random Guy: "I know you have it, and you're going to give it to me."
Sasha: "Have what? I don't know what you're talking about."
Random Guy: "Yeah, yeah, sure you don't."
The man grabs Sasha's shirt and starts to lift it.
Sasha: "Hey, let go of me!"
Random Guy: "Why? What the hell are you going to do about it?"
(Context: In MMO, you cannot damage someone if they are inside a building, only if they are outside, even in a town area. Sasha walked into a building to hide, so the guy cannot damage her, but he can still touch her.)
Sasha: "I'm going to..."
The random guy starts putting his hands on Sasha's body, slowly bringing them up to her chest.
Random Guy: "Yeah, you like that, don't you?"
Sasha: "Please, st—"
The random guy puts his hand over Sasha's mouth and starts touching her chest.
Random Guy: "If you give me the key, I'll stop."
Sasha, trying to think of a way out of this, sees a shadow behind the guy and realizes she won't have to.
Lizzy: "Get the hell off of my friend, you son of a b*tch!"
Lizzy delivers a powerful kick to the guy's groin. The random guy stops touching Sasha and jumps back.
Random Guy: "Ow! What the hell!"
Lizzy: "Oh my God, are you okay?"
Sasha starts crying and shakes her head up and down to say yes.
Riri, from outside the building, activates a smoke spell, and Sasha and Lizzy run away.
Random Guy: "I will find you, and I will get the key!"
Log Out
Lizzy, Riri, and Sasha stop in an alleyway, and Lizzy and Riri ask Sasha if she's okay.
Sasha: "I'm okay. I think I've just..."
Lizzy: "Hey, it's okay. It's my fault. I'm sorry."
Riri: "Hey, it's both of our faults. We weren't there for you."
Sasha: "No, it's... it's not your fault. I think I might just want to log off for now."
Lizzy and Riri: "Okay."
Sasha logs off after her traumatic experience with the creepy guy. Sure, it was in a game. Sure, it wasn't her body, but she could feel it. It felt like it was her body.
Lizzy: "Do you think she'll be okay?"
Riri: "I don't know, baby."
Lizzy: "Hey, stop. I'm being serious."
Riri: "And I am too. I think she'll be okay. She just needs time. And with time, we can start doing things."
Lizzy shyly blushes and looks away.
