Chapter 3 - Employment

John's eyes widened as he stared at his computer screen, his heart racing with excitement. The email was from Lune Lux, the company he had interviewed with a week ago. He had been hoping for this opportunity, and now it seemed like his dream was finally coming true.

He passed the interview and was happy but that meant he had to work with her, Mrs Anita Jenkins.

The CEO, Anita Jenkins, was a force to be reckoned with. Known for her ruthless business tactics and unwavering expectations, she had built a reputation as a leader who wouldn't hesitate to cut ties with anyone who couldn't keep up.

Her rise to success was quick. By the age of 20, she had already made a name for herself in the corporate world, Now in her mid 20's, she was one of the most feared and respected CEOs in the industry.

Her youthful success had not softened her; instead, it seemed to have fueled her ambition. She was known for her sharp intellect, strategic thinking, and unyielding drive. Those who worked for her admired her tenacity, even as they feared her wrath.

Despite her tough exterior, whispers of a complex personality circulated – a woman driven by more than just profit margins. But one thing was certain: She was a powerhouse, and those who wanted to succeed in her world had better be prepared to keep up.

One thing was certain, Anita Jenkins got what she wanted, no matter the cost.

The mother, Sarah, was over the moon when her son, John, told her about the job offer. She had always been his biggest supporter, and this achievement was a testament to his hard work and dedication.

As they sat in their cozy living room, surrounded by family photos and warm decorations, Sarah couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. She was proud of John for landing such a great job, but she also knew that this meant he would be starting a new chapter in his life.

"I'm going to miss having you around," Sarah said, her voice tinged with a hint of sadness.

John smiled and put his arm around her. "I'll still be here, Mom. Just a phone call away."

Sarah smiled back, feeling a little better. She knew that John needed to spread his wings and start his own life, but it was hard to let go of the little boy she had raised.

As they celebrated John's new job with a homemade dinner, Sarah couldn't help but feel grateful for the time they had together. She knew that this was a new beginning for both of them, and she was excited to see what the future held.

But was this a curse or a blessing?
