Chapter 1 - The End

The wind howled like a restless spirit, whipping through the darkness with an otherworldly ferocity. Trees creaked and swayed, their branches like skeletal fingers grasping for the sky. The moon was hidden behind a veil of clouds, casting an eerie gloom over the landscape.

In the midst of this tempestuous night, secrets lurked in every shadow. The wind carried whispers, but they were lost in the cacophony of creaking wood and rustling leaves. It was as if the night itself was alive, holding its breath in anticipation of something.

The streets were deserted, save for a lone figure standing in the darkness. The wind buffeted her about, threatening to rip her coat from her shoulders, but it pressed on, driven by a sense of urgency.

She tood there, her hair dancing in the wind like dark tendrils reaching out to ensnare her. Her heart was pounding in her chest, her brown pleading eyes staring at the person infront of her with so much love. The sound of the baby crying beside her was the only sound that could be heard.

What secrets was she hiding? And what lay ahead, waiting in the darkness?

The wind howled on, a mournful cry that seemed to carry a warning: something was coming, and nothing would ever be the same again.

A man was dressed in black attire that seemed to absorb the light around him. His dark clothing – a sleek black shirt and fitted black pants – appeared almost like a shadowy silhouette. The fabric seemed to hug his frame, accentuating his lean build. A black jacket or coat might have added a layer of mystery or intensity to his overall appearance.

He stood infront of her, his eyes full of hate and pain.

"I love you," the woman sobbed. Her voice being swallowed by the wind.

*Bang*

He finally pulled the trigger sending the woman back to her maker.
