The Law of Fate: The Vengeance of the Throne
"What is written in fate, happens. Neither a rich man can change it, nor a beggar. Whatever is written, happens. For a moment, a king can become a pauper and a pauper a king, but no one can change the law of fate, no matter how hard they try."
But when two unknown hearts are tied by the same name, was that also a game of fate? Or was there a secret that was about to change both their lives forever?

Suryagarh was a kingdom like a heaven in itself, where the people were very happy. Everyone respected the Maharaja and Maharani greatly. Maharaja Veerendra Pratap was the ruler of Suryagarh, who ruled along with his Maharani, Devyani. They had a son, Prince Veer Pratap, and a daughter, Princess Vidhika, who lived in the palace of Suryagarh.
One morning, Maharani Devyani asked a soldier, "Soldier, where is Prince Veer?"
The soldier said, "Maharani, the Prince is practicing his swordsmanship."
Maharani said, "Alright."
Maharani Devyani went to the practice hall, where Prince Veer – who was tall and well-built, with a broad chest, arms of iron, and long hair – was blindfolded, cutting the pots placed in front of him with his sword.
Maharani Devyani said, "Veer, my son, what are you doing?"
Hearing her voice, Veer turned to look. Maharani Devyani stepped forward, removed the blindfold from the Prince's eyes, and said, "Son, does anyone practice like this? With a blindfold on?"
Veer smiled and said, "Mother, don't worry. I was just practicing my swordsmanship with a blindfold, so that even with my eyes closed, I can fight using my sense of hearing."
Maharani Devyani smiled, "Whatever, son. Come with me now. I have had special almond milk prepared for you. Let's go."
Veer said, "Okay, Mother. You go ahead, I will join you."
Meanwhile, the Maharaja went to Princess Vidhika's chamber and called out, "Vidhika! My daughter Vidhika!"
Princess Vidhika suddenly emerged from behind the door and said, "Boo!"
The Maharaja got scared. Vidhika started laughing.
The Maharaja also laughed and said, "Daughter, what is this childishness? You frightened us! Look, what have you put on your eyes and face? Black kajal?"
Vidhika hugged the Maharaja and said, "Were you really scared, Father?"
The Maharaja said, "Yes, daughter, I was really scared!"
Vidhika laughed again.
The Maharaja said, "Come on now, remove all this from your face and come downstairs. Your mother is waiting for you."
Vidhika said, "Okay, Father. I'm coming. You may go."
The Maharaja left. A maid came and wiped the soot from the Princess's face. The Princess's face shone like the moon once the soot was removed. Her long, open hair reached her feet, and the smile on her lips was like a rose petal. She was so beautiful that even the moon would feel ashamed.
The maid did the Princess's makeup and the Princess, with a gait like a gentle drumbeat, went to have a meal with the Maharaja and Maharani, where her elder brother, Prince Veer Pratap, was also sitting.
Everyone joined their hands together and said, "Oh Mother Annapurna, we offer you our countless thanks for providing us with this food."
Everyone remembered God.
The Maharaja said, "Everyone, please begin your meal."
Everyone started eating and the Maharaja said, "Our princess has grown up now, but she remains lost in her mischief. Her habit of joking hasn't left her."
The Maharani asked, "What happened, Maharaja?"
The Maharaja said, "It's nothing, just a matter between a father and daughter."
The Maharani said, "Vidhika, what mischief have you done again? Did you trouble your father? Beta, you are grown up now, this doesn't suit you. You are the Princess of Suryagarh."
Veer said, "Mother, leave it. Don't scold Vidhika for her mischief. Anyway, we are all here for her."
The Maharani said, "It is because of the pampering and love from both of you that the Princess has become so mischievous."
Everyone started laughing.

The Next Morning
An archery competition was being held in the palace, in which everyone was participating. A boy, who was wearing a mask, also took part and he won the competition.
The Maharaja called him to the stage and welcomed him. He gave him a large amount of money as a reward in the palace.
In the Palace
Maharaja: "Vidhika, stop! Where are you going?"
Vidhika:"Nowhere, Father. I was just strolling around here."
Maharaja:"I know. You were that masked man."
Vidhika:"No, no, Father! How could it be me?"
Maharaja:"I had thrown your bracelet. I realized it was you the moment I saw it on your hand, but I didn't say anything then."
Vidhika:"Please forgive me, Father!"
The Maharaja, laughing: "It's no matter. But be careful next time. Understood? We are proud of you."
Vidhika hugs her Father.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, Prince Veer was horse riding.
Veer:"Come, Vidhika, let's go horse riding."
Vidhika:"No, brother. I'm scared of horse riding."
Veer:"Here, I will show you."
Vidhika:"No, brother, I don't want to learn."
Veer starts laughing.
He then starts demonstrating his archery skills while on horseback. Sitting on the horse, he shoots arrows and hits the targets placed in front of him.
Vidhika claps. "Well done, brother! Well done!"
Veer start laughing
Veer: "If you want to go hunting on a horse like we do, then you will have to learn horse riding, Vidhika."
Vidhika: "No, brother, I'm scared."
Veer gets down from his horse and comes to her. He says, "Until you conquer your fear, you will not be able to move forward. This fear will hold you back, and you will never learn horse riding. Everyone is scared in the beginning, not just of horse riding, but of learning any new thing they have never done before."
Vidhika: "Alright, brother, I will learn... but not today."
Veer starts laughing. "Vidhika, you coward!"
Vidhika: "Brother, I am not a coward!"
Veer: "Okay, okay, you are not a coward. Now let's go to the palace. Mother must be waiting for you and for me. We have to have our meal. You go ahead, I will come after taking a bath, alright, Vidhika?"
Vidhika: "Alright, brother."
After his bath, Veer comes to eat, and all of them thank Mother Annapurna before having their meal. After eating, everyone goes back to their respective work.
