Chapter 15 - 15

Mission triggered: Be part of a team with plot characters (all members must be plot characters). Mission completion reward: one lottery draw."

Yueshu lay in his room, already accustomed to the Japanese-style tatami mat. Although not as soft as a bed, it offered a different kind of comfort.

Since his rare encounter with Minato Namikaze and Jiraiya, the master and disciple, some time ago,

the single-player system, which had been idle, actually responded.

Another character, unseen for a while, finally reappeared.

Being part of the same team as a plot character, and all of them having to be plot characters, honestly, this could be considered difficult or not difficult.

According to the settings in Hokage, a team, or a squad, consists of four people: one instructor and three students. This is the standard configuration for a team, meaning Yueshu needs three plot characters to complete this mission.

Regarding this, Minato Namikaze and Jiraiya, who for some unknown reason returned to Konoha Village from Rain Ninja Village earlier than expected, already account for two people. In the end, Yueshu only needs one more plot character.

Yueshu pondered.

There weren't many plot characters in this generation of the Fourth Hokage; the only ones he knew were Kushina and Mikoto. As for the others, Yueshu claimed to have no impression at all.

Looking at it this way, it becomes simple: the system's mission has a deeper layer.

To complete the system's mission, another plot character is undoubtedly needed, and the only two plot characters Yueshu knew were just over eight years old, still far from graduation.

This means Yueshu needs to choose one from Kushina and Mikoto, and furthermore, help this person graduate early so that Yueshu, Minato Namikaze, and this person can form a team.

If he waited until graduation, the school would assign teams, and by then, Minato Namikaze would probably already be a Chunin or even a Jonin.

At that point, the system mission would essentially be impossible to complete, and the system is completely single-player. If one mission keeps dragging on, would it also mean the next mission would be held up by it?

If that were the case, Yueshu's biggest trump card and secret weapon would be rendered useless.

After considering all the pros and cons, Yueshu sighed helplessly.

It seems he can no longer leisurely stay at school; he must help Kushina graduate early, and preferably very soon, without dragging it out too long.

Minato Namikaze was hailed as the purest genius in Hokage; in the mouths of Tsunade and Jiraiya, any genius would pale in comparison to Minato Namikaze.

It can be said that given time, just a little time, Minato Namikaze would be enough to soar straight up.

Form a Genin team with Minato Namikaze then? Daydreaming would be better.

This means Yueshu doesn't have much time, and within this limited time, Yueshu must help Kushina graduate early. Although Yueshu doesn't know Kushina's combat power level, it should still be quite difficult.

After all, Konoha's Genin are the most terrifying rank in the entire Ninja World (laughs).

After all, the peak combatants of the Ninja World, Sasuke and Naruto, were Genin, and remained so even after the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Sighing, Yueshu rolled over, deciding not to think too much for now.

Tomorrow at school, he should grab Kushina and give her a good training session.

Thinking this, Yueshu slowly closed his eyes, and the next day quietly arrived.

"Kushina, how about we go train together after school?"

Yueshu was implementing yesterday's plan, and seeing Kushina, he immediately asked her.

Of course, the first response was a classic one.

"Huh?"

"Train? Why so sudden?"

Kushina was also confused. Since Minato Namikaze left, her only friends were Yueshu and Mikoto. Yueshu was usually in a relaxed state, so when he suddenly suggested training together, Kushina didn't react for a moment.

"It's nothing."

"What is it, really?"

Kushina became curious, seeing Yueshu being coy.

"Alright."

Yueshu wasn't good at dealing with this kind of situation.

"I want to train you to help you graduate early."

"Eh?"

Kushina was even more bewildered. Yueshu had practically thrown a bomb at her, completely stunning her.

"Why do you suddenly want to do this?"

Kushina asked curiously.

"I want to graduate early with you and Minato Namikaze and be on the same team."

Yueshu didn't hide anything; he wasn't good at finding excuses or reasons. It was better to speak directly.

Kushina was stunned. She had been stunned ever since Yueshu finished speaking.

Yueshu's words still echoed in her mind, triggering some rather improper fantasies, which quickly made her turn into what she was once called—Tomato.

Her face was flushed red, and paired with her red hair, she indeed looked very much like a Tomato.

"Why suddenly?"

Kushina's voice was weak, not at all like her usual self, who was known as Blood Red Habanero.

"A whim, I guess. Well, I'm just staying at school like this anyway."

"How about it?"

Yueshu looked at Kushina.

"But I—"

"It's okay, I'll help you."

Yueshu knew what Kushina was going to say; it was nothing more than about her lack of strength.

"But—"

Kushina glanced at Mikoto, and Yueshu also looked over.

Mikoto had just intended to approach Kushina, and she had overheard their conversation.

Seeing Yueshu and Kushina look over, Mikoto forced a smile.

A child's emotions are easy to discern, completely unhidden. Mikoto's sadness was fully displayed.

As a member of the Uchiha, Mikoto couldn't really mix with commoners. She was usually alone, and Kushina was her only friend. If Kushina really did graduate early, then Mikoto would spend the rest of her time at school alone.

"Why don't we all go together?"

Yueshu's response was quick, and the two girls looked at him.

"The three of us will train together and graduate early together."

"Is that really possible?"

Kushina was a bit disbelieving, and Mikoto, by her side, was the same. But clearly, a hint of longing was in both girls' eyes.

It was no wonder they felt this way; there weren't many people in Konoha's history who graduated early at just over eight years old, and even fewer for girls, making it even more impossible.

"Possible."

Yueshu's answer was firm. Kushina and Mikoto exchanged glances.

A giggle escaped them.

The two girls simultaneously burst into laughter, their bell-like laughter very pleasant to hear.

"Then."

Kushina and Mikoto spoke in incredible unison.

"We'll trust you this once."

"Yes, leave it to me!"

For some reason, looking into Kushina and Mikoto's eyes and feeling their gaze, Yueshu just wanted to say it was possible so firmly, even though it was an extremely difficult thing to do.

Perhaps this was a kind of expectation.

When others' expectations fall upon oneself, one doesn't want to disappoint them, doesn't want to let down that expectation.

Yueshu looked at the two girls' smiling faces, and he made up his mind.

No matter what, all three of them must graduate early within this period!

Yueshu's training plan was thus set and began. The participants were Yueshu, Kushina, and Mikoto.

The goal was early graduation!
