Chapter 82 - Chapter 82 : Uzumaki Karin

So instead of returning home, Arata decided to stay on the island and experiment.

After all, a bit of island greening wouldn't hurt.

When he copied the Wood Release earlier, he had also copied Yamato's Wood ninjutsu techniques.

That meant he could use them directly.....no additional learning needed.

Arata found an open clearing on the island and began to test the Wood Release

After some experimentation, Arata discovered that even though he had copied Yamato's Wood Release, the power of his version was far greater.....at least twice as strong.

It was easier to use too, probably because of his immense chakra reserves.

As for why his Wood Release was stronger, Arata suspected it was due to the combination of Uchiha bloodline and his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

If Wood chakra could nourish the Sharingan, then it wasn't impossible that Uchiha blood or the Sharingan could, in turn, enhance Wood Release.

After all, the Sage's eyes and body were meant to complement each other.

Having tested all the Wood Release techniques he could, Arata grew bored and decided to build something.

On a beautiful high spot overlooking the island, he used Wood Release

Interconnected Residences (the upgraded version of Four-Room-Two-Hall—now a luxury villa) to construct a grand wooden mansion large enough to house over ten people.

Satisfied with his new creation, Uchiha Arata finally returned to his home in Konoha, feeling calm and content.

When Uchiha Arata stepped out from the spatial realm, the sky had already begun to darken.

He stretched lazily, gazing at the distant glow of the evening sunset, lost in thought.

Since arriving in the world of Naruto, today had been the most meaningful day for Uchiha Arata.

Not only had he finally gained control over the Third Hokage and Shimura Danzō...effectively putting Konoha itself in his hands...but he had also learned something that shook him to his core.

He had a child in this world, a bond deeper than any power.

But Arata couldn't afford to relax. Outside, countless threats still loomed.

Leaving aside the Sage of Six Paths, who drifted across the shinobi world in spiritual form, there were also the three Great Sages of the summoning realms.

Take the Great Toad Sage, for example...he had lived since the era of the Sage of Six Paths himself.

The Sage had long perished, yet the Toad Sage still lived.

Could anyone really say he wasn't dangerous?

Even setting aside his strength, that unreliable prophetic dream of his was enough to give Arata a headache.

After all, the Great Toad Sage's "prophecy" was the only known form of future sight in the entire Naruto world.

And the worst part.....there was Jiraiya, a powerful ninja who placed blind faith in those prophecies.

The man was willing to die for them without hesitation.

If the Great Toad Sage ever dreamed up a prophecy that cast Arata as a future threat, Jiraiya would surely come buzzing toward him like a fly drawn to blood.

Sure, Arata could flick him away easily. But knowing Jiraiya, he'd never give up...he'd probably drag Tsunade from her gambling tours and even rope in Orochimaru from his laboratory in the Hidden Sound Village.

Although Orochimaru had little love left for Konoha, he'd no doubt show up just for the fun of it once he heard Arata's name.

And Tsunade… she was Arata's next target. If Jiraiya warned her too soon, it would ruin his plans.

Her hemophobia might be keeping her from returning to the village, but that phobia was likely just a mental block....a convenient excuse.

A skilled genjutsu user could easily remove it with a few psychological suggestions.

The problem was that behind the three Sannin stood three mighty summoning realms.....the Great Toad Sage, the White Snake Sage, and the Slug Sage.

No wonder Konoha was considered the strongest village in the world; they had monopolized nearly all of the most powerful summoning contracts.

If those sages ever joined forces, even Arata would find it troublesome.

And beyond them were the Akatsuki.....Nagato and Uchiha Obito.

Nagato was troublesome enough on his own.

Not only was he a member of the Uzumaki clan, but he also possessed the only Rinnegan in existence.

Each of his Six Paths bodies had a unique, deadly ability.....enough to make even Arata cautious.

As for Obito… while Arata wasn't afraid of his Kamui thanks to his own space-time dojutsu, Obito was still the inheritor of Madara's legacy.

Who knew what other tricks he had up his sleeve?

Some people simply couldn't be redeemed.
