A person who hadn't yet done wrong might deserve forgiveness...like Uchiha Itachi, who, despite the enormity of his deeds, had always borne his crimes for the sake of peace.
But in this altered timeline, Itachi no longer had to carry such burdens thanks to Arata's intervention.
Obito, however, was different.
No matter how much one tried to justify or "redeem" him, he was still the man who killed his own sensei and sensei's wife.
Regardless of Kakashi's feelings toward him, Obito was a man lost in delusion....a piece of scum unworthy of sympathy.
And so, Arata would show him no mercy when the time came.
Fortunately, the Fourth Great Ninja War was still years away.....plenty of time for Arata to strengthen himself.
By then, he intended to be strong enough to crush the Ten-Tails with one hand… and dance alongside Madara as an equal.
For now, though, he needed to grow patiently, to accumulate power step by step.
His Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan had already evolved, but there was still much room to ascend further.
He had already tasted the sweetness of the Wood Release.....a bloodline limit that was, at best, an incomplete version of the Sage's body.
A true Sage Body no longer existed in the world, but there were related bloodlines
Tsunade's Senju lineage, and the Uzumaki clan's vitality.
Just comparing Naruto's immense chakra reserves to Kakashi's made it clear how terrifying the Uzumaki bloodline was.
After all, the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails had always been members of the Uzumaki clan.
Why? Because no ordinary person...or even another clan....could withstand that monstrous chakra.
That's why Madara had transplanted the Rinnegan into Nagato.
As a pure-blooded Uzumaki, only he had the vitality to sustain it.
A normal human would have been reduced to dust.
So even though the Land of Whirlpools had been destroyed, many of the key figures in history still carried its blood.
Then, Arata suddenly remembered something....there was a girl from the Uzumaki clan who would later appear and join Sasuke's team.
Her name was Karin. She should be in Kusagakure, the Hidden Grass Village, right about now.
Since Arata planned to copy and learn the Uzumaki clan's unique physical constitution, the more Uzumaki bloodlines he could find, the better.
Right now, Konoha only had Naruto, but his bloodline wasn't particularly pure compared to Karin's.
Karin and her mother both possessed the Uzumaki's innate regenerative ability...by letting someone bite them, that person could instantly recover both chakra and physical wounds.
Even when she first appeared, Karin already had powerful clan abilities.....her Mind's Eye of the Kagura was an exceptional sensory power.
Naruto, on the other hand, had only vast chakra and recovery speed. Clearly, Karin's Uzumaki bloodline was purer.
Arata, with nothing urgent to handle in Konoha, decided it was time to act.
The village was stable, and rushing growth would only lead to instability. .
Power gained too quickly could be dangerous...just look at Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
Despite her overwhelming strength, she was sealed away by two far weaker opponents simply because she lacked real combat experience.
Patience, strategy, and control.....that was how Uchiha Arata would rise.
Uchiha Arata had no worries about the situation behind him.
For now, the only thing that truly mattered to him was Uchiha Mikoto.
Of course, he had already placed a space-time mark on Mikoto..
If she ever faced danger, a single thought from him would instantly teleport her back to the Takamagahara Space.
Even if he wanted to guard her personally, this was the best form of protection he could offer.
Besides, he could return at any time. With the combination of his space mark and Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, Arata could easily travel back every evening to have dinner and sleep at home, then use the mark again to resume missions the next morning.
But doing so too often would draw unwanted attention.
His spatial ninjutsu was one of his hidden trump cards, and he didn't want to expose it unnecessarily.
Moreover, Arata was now a member of the Anbu....missions outside the village required formal orders from the Third Hokage.
Normally, solo missions were rare in Anbu, so Arata decided to request a teammate.
Having someone by his side would make his assignments appear more legitimate.
The purple-haired figure he had met at the Anbu base the other day.....he later learned through the Third Hokage....was Uzuki Yugao, a name that once appeared at Moonlight Hayate's grave in the original timeline.
She had only recently joined the Anbu.
After Arata first saw her, she had gone on a mission outside the village and just returned.
