In the end, I was forced to play with my two cousins and some of my Aunt's friends' kids.
Since this is a grown-up party, the kids are moved to the other room upstairs to play and enjoy their time together.

One kid has the magic of the light orb, summoning several blinding lights right in front of my face, and I can't escape it. Another could summon light rain, successfully making me drenched.
Avia, one of my cousins, can control ice. She laughed when I shivered as she created a snow fortress around me, preventing me from escaping.
"You think you can get out of here with your powers? Oh, wait, you don't have any," Cassian, who's unfortunately also my cousin, mocked.
"Surely he can beat us all with his bubbles,"
"If he can create one,"
"Maybe he has magic like Aunt Nessa. Where she can create flower smells,"
"Pfft, yeah, that's useful alright,"
Oh, these kids are testing my patience.
They insulted my Mom and Dad.
Let me memorize their faces so I can get back to them once I'm strong enough.
Gathering magic with my demonic heart takes time. Maybe around two or three more years. It's slowly accumulating right now, and once my demonic heart manages to expand large enough, I could gather infinite magic.

"Ouch!" I shouted when there was ice freezing my fingertips, and they're not going away.
I felt tears forming in my eyes from the pain, but I tried to endure it.
"Aw, is little Riven trying to be strong?" Avia cooed mockingly, giggling.
I want to reach out to her pigtails and yank them. But I refrained from doing that.
"Don't you think his red eyes looked so creepy?" A girl I don't recognize whispered out loud. Then why the heck are you whispering in the first place?
"My mom said Aunt Nessa married a demon," Cassian furrowed his eyebrows, both little hands on his hip. "But demons are supposed to be strong,"
"So that means Uncle Aven is a fake demon," Avia sniffed, smiling triumphantly.
The other kids "oooh" -ed in unison, and my blood is boiling under my skin.
These kids...
Good kid. You're a good kid, Riven. Remember not to cause trouble for your parents. Remember. Deep breath. Huuu... Haaa....
"I don't want to play with a fake demon," one kid said petulantly.
"We don't have to. We can make sure the fake demon gets what he deserves!" Cassian smiled wickedly, holding out both of his arms, and his fingertips emitted a blue glow.
"Gah!" I shouted in pain when my entire arm was now covered in ice.
It hurts really badly.
"RIVEN!"
The five kids gasped, and Cassian stopped using his magic. The ice completely melted off my arm, but my arms are still aching. It was my Mom who rushed toward me, scooped me into her arms, and cradled me tightly.
"Are you okay?" she asked quickly.
I clutched her dress with my stubby fingers, nodding on her shoulder.
This is embarrassing. I don't want my mom to save me from that. I'm a Demon Prince for crying out loud.
My mom shot a glare toward the other kids. They flinched, but not for long after they remembered that she's only a rank F.
"He's fine," Cassian said with his chin lifted, crossing his arms.
"Yeah! We didn't do anything," Avia smiled faintly, voice dripping with false politeness.
Oooh, I want to shank them.
I can feel my Mom trembling. I tried to soothe her by putting my hand on her cheek, and that's how the rage in her eyes melted away, and she smiled reassuringly at me.
"I'm picking you up since grandpa wants to see you. You haven't met your grandpa yet."
Oh! This is it!
"Paps!"
"Yes, sweetie," Mom cooed and walked away, ignoring the five kids in the room.
Finally, that torture is over for now.
