Chapter 139 - Chapter 139 A Man Like Vincent

Blanche's POV

Camila's words seemed to strike something deep in Vincent's heart.

He looked down and spotted me sitting with Dorian on a bench under the tree's shade.

We were chatting, and I could feel a small smile tugging at my lips.

Though it was barely there, Vincent caught it immediately—I was actually smiling.

His gaze lingered on me as he told Camila with certainty, "Camila, I'm the one who can make your aunt truly happy."

Under the tree's canopy, I passed Dorian a water bottle. After he took a drink, he looked up at me. "Miss Callum, Carry, Camila, and I all go to the same kindergarten together."

I'd already figured as much. Smiling softly, I asked, "So what brought you and Mr. Aarav to this amusement park today?"

I couldn't shake the feeling this might not be pure coincidence.

Dorian handed the bottle back to me. "Dad's away on business, so he asked Mr. Aarav to bring me here for some fun."

I nodded, the pieces falling into place. "Ah, that makes sense."
