Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The First Round

They gathered in the old classroom — the same one they'd used before, when they were just stupid kids chasing adrenaline. Desks overturned, graffiti covering the walls.

Natalie brushed dust off a desk and found something etched into the wood.

TRUTH OR DARE — NEVER ENDS.

"Creepy," Felix muttered.

"Too on the nose," Alex replied.

Anne set her camera down on a broken chair, its red light blinking softly.

"I want to record this," she said quietly. "Just to… remember what really happened."

No one objected.

They sat in a circle. Felix found an old glass bottle, coated with grime. He set it in the center and spun it. The squeal of glass against wood echoed like a scream.

It landed on Alex.

"Figures," Natalie murmured.

Alex smirked. "Truth."

Felix leaned forward, his tone teasing. "Do you still think it was an accident?"

The silence stretched.

Alex's smile faltered. "That's not funny."

"Not trying to be," Felix said. "We all said it was. But I wonder… did you really believe that?"

Natalie looked at Anne — the girl had gone pale.

"Stop it," she whispered. "We agreed never to—"

"Truth or Dare," Felix interrupted.

Alex stood abruptly. "Dare," she spat. "Anything's better than your questions."

Felix grinned. "Fine. I dare you to go to the old gym. Alone."

Her eyes narrowed. "Why the gym?"

"You know why."

The rain hit the windows harder. For a moment, no one spoke.

Then Alex grabbed her flashlight and walked into the hallway.
