Chapter 1 - Part I — The Reunion

Chapter 1: The Invitation

It started with a text that shouldn't have existed.

Natalie stared at her phone for several minutes before replying. The number was unfamiliar, but the message was simple — "Let's play again." A link followed, one that led to a group chat titled "Truth or Dare — Class of 2017."

At first, she thought it was a prank. Nobody had spoken about that night in years. The last time they'd all been together, one of them hadn't made it home. But curiosity was a strange thing; it always found its way through guilt.

Within minutes, the chat filled up.

Alex: You're kidding.

Anne: Is this who I think it is?

Felix: It's been years. Why now?

And then another message appeared, unsigned:

Unknown: Because we never finished the game.

Natalie's stomach tightened. The words reached into a place she had buried — that abandoned wing of her old high school, the dares that went too far, the scream that echoed until someone finally pulled the fire alarm.

The next line sealed their fate.

Unknown: Tomorrow night. Midnight. The old school. Let's find out who's still telling the truth.
