Chapter 189 - Chapter 189 Desert Tyrant

Nogula Desert!

Under the night sky, all that met the eye was an endless sea of sand.

A large troop of Black Pig People galloped wildly through the sand sea.

As the leading Black Pig Person ran, he suddenly noticed a golden sand mass floating in the night sky ahead.

"Wait!" The leading Black Pig Person raised his hand, and the orcs behind him immediately stopped, gripping their spiked clubs, their eyes scanning the surroundings warily.

"Finally, they've arrived…" A lazy voice came from within the golden sand mass.

Marcus stood up, his slightly disheveled green hair falling over his forehead, with Yuumi, in her spirit form, nestled on his shoulder, yawning.

"So it's just a kid!" The leading Black Pig Person grinned, a look of disdain on his face.

Marcus was less than one meter sixty tall, and with his youthful face and Yuumi on his shoulder, he looked somewhat lacking in intimidation.

However, Marcus didn't take the mockery to heart.

He stood expressionlessly on the sand cloud, subtly raising a finger.

"Sand Thorn Hell!"

The entire desert seemed to instantly awaken at Marcus's command.

Countless sharp sand thorns violently shot out from underground, piercing towards the Black Pig People.

The Black Pig People panicked, many unable to dodge in time, and were impaled by the sand thorns, letting out cries of agony.

The sand thorns formed a vast thorny jungle, with each thorn impaling the writhing bodies of orcs.

"Retreat quickly!" The Black Pig People in the back realized something was wrong and immediately tried to pull back and create distance.

"It's too late!" Marcus raised his hand and made a grasping motion towards the sky, "Sand Iron Rain!"

In the dark night sky, a massive cloud of gold sand gathered, and a huge amount of gold sand poured down like a torrential rain.

In the night, the gold sand glowed exceptionally bright.

Every grain of gold sand carried an astonishing sound of tearing through the air, possessing terrifying penetrating power.

The gold sand rain fell upon the orcs, instantly piercing through their flesh and even shattering their bones.

Under the ferocious assault of the gold sand rain, large numbers of orcs wailed and fell once more.

Just then, from the rear of the orc forces, a golden energy arrow, trailing a long tail of fire, shot through the air, destroying the gold sand cloud in the sky with a single shot.

A path split open within the orc forces, and a centaur with long black hair, wielding a massive bow, and a man with a fiery red fox tail emerged from among the orcs.

Powerful magical auras emanated from these two, and the surrounding orcs quickly retreated.

"Mere humans!" The centaur held his longbow, his eyes fierce.

"How dare you be so presumptuous?" The man with the fox tail ignited flames in his hands, and his tail behind him also burst into flames with a whoosh.

"Two A-Class Mages?" Marcus raised an eyebrow slightly, a hint of excitement flashing in his eyes, "Finally, worthy opponents have arrived."

"Yuumi!" He whispered the little one's name.

Yuumi, in her spirit form, immediately flew from his shoulder, transforming into a golden light, circling around him as a translucent eggshell shield formed.

The fox-tailed man clapped his hands, and flames enveloped his entire body. He sneered, "Kid, today is your death day!"

The centaur drew back his magical longbow, and magical energy crystallized on the bowstring, forming a gleaming magical arrow, its tip pointing directly at Marcus.

"How dare a mere human act so brazenly in front of us?"

Marcus didn't respond, merely raising his hand gently, his fingertip moving slightly.

Instantly, the sand cloud beneath his feet violently churned, and countless gold sand grains swirled around him like living creatures, forming a golden barrier.

"Sand Armor!" Marcus growled, and the gold sand rapidly condensed, covering his body to form a suit of armor shining with a metallic luster.

Every grain of sand on the armor contained powerful magic, as if it could withstand any attack.

"Attack!" The Flame Fox Orc roared, his hands gathering flames into a long whip that he violently lashed out, the flames like a fire dragon, striking directly at Marcus.

At the same time, the centaur's magic arrow also left the string, cutting a cold streak through the air, moving so fast it was almost impossible to catch with the naked eye.

Marcus's eyes narrowed, and he shifted his body slightly. The flame whip grazed his shoulder, its scorching flames burning the air, yet failing to harm him in the slightest.

The magic arrow, just as it was about to hit him, was blocked by the Sand Armor. The arrow collided with the armor, emitting a crisp "ding" sound, then shattered into fragments and dispersed.

"Not much skill, but your words are certainly frightening." Marcus sneered, his hands suddenly clasped together, and the sand cloud beneath his feet instantly erupted. Countless gold sand grains, like a rainstorm, swept towards the two orcs.

"Sandstorm Rain!" Marcus's voice was cold and filled with killing intent.

The gold sand poured down like a torrential rain, each grain carrying terrifying penetrating power, as if it could pierce through anything.

The Flame Fox Orc quickly wielded his flame whip, trying to use fire to block the gold sand, but the sheer number of sand grains was too great, and the flames couldn't completely stop them.

A few grains of gold sand pierced through the flames, striking his body, instantly leaving several bleeding holes in his skin.

"Damn it!" The Flame Fox Orc gritted his teeth and roared, the flames on his body suddenly surging, attempting to melt the gold sand with high temperatures.

However, Marcus's Sandstorm Rain was not ordinary sand; each grain of gold sand contained powerful magic, and ordinary magic flames simply couldn't completely destroy them.

The centaur quickly created distance, continuously firing arrows from his magical longbow, attempting to restrain Marcus with long-range attacks.

However, Marcus's Sand Armor had extremely strong defenses, and the arrows simply couldn't cause any substantial damage to him.

The arrows hitting his body could only cause a slight tremor, but couldn't truly harm Marcus.

Even if the armor cracked, it would be quickly refilled and repaired by the gold sand.

Catching an energy arrow shot towards him, Marcus squeezed his palm, and the arrow shattered into a cluster of light points, dissipating.

"Is that all you've got?" Marcus's voice carried a hint of mockery. He waved his hands again, and the sand cloud beneath his feet violently churned. Countless sand thorns shot out from underground, pressing directly towards the two orcs.

"Sand Thorn Hell!"

The Flame Fox Orc quickly leaped, attempting to evade the sand thorn attack, but the sand thorns were too fast. His leg was still struck by several thorns, and blood immediately gushed out.

The centaur quickly drew his longbow and fired a magic arrow. The arrow exploded in the air, forming a shockwave that shattered the surrounding sand thorns.

"Don't underestimate us!" The Flame Fox Orc roared, the flames on his body suddenly erupting, forming a massive pillar of fire that shot skyward.

The temperature within the fire pillar was extremely high, instantly melting the surrounding sand and forming a vitrified ground.

"Flame Storm!" The Flame Fox Orc suddenly clasped his hands together, and the fire pillar instantly split into countless flame whips, resembling fox tails, sweeping towards Marcus.

Marcus's eyes narrowed, and he quickly retreated. The sand cloud beneath his feet rapidly churned, forming a sand wall to block the flame whips.

The flame whips struck the sand wall, emitting a "boom" explosion. The sand wall was shattered, but Marcus had already taken the opportunity to create distance.

"Sand Clone!" Marcus growled, and the sand cloud beneath his feet quickly condensed, forming two Sand Clones identical to him.

The Sand Clones rapidly charged towards the two orcs, mercilessly unleashing sand magic.

The Flame Fox Orc and the centaur immediately fell into a bitter struggle. The Sand Clones' strength was almost on par with Marcus's main body, each strike carrying terrifying destructive power.

The Flame Fox Orc tried to shatter the Sand Clones with his flame whip, but the Sand Clones quickly turned into sand, reformed after dodging the attack.

The centaur continuously fired magic arrows, trying to shatter the Sand Clones, but the Sand Clones' defense was extremely strong, and the arrows simply couldn't inflict fatal damage on them.

"What kind of monster is this guy…!" The Flame Fox Orc gritted his teeth and roared, the flames on his body no longer as scorching as before, clearly indicating significant magic consumption.

The centaur was also panting, his magical longbow trembling slightly. He had never encountered such a difficult opponent. Marcus's sand magic was not only wide-ranging but also extremely powerful, leaving them almost no room to retaliate.

"It's over." Marcus's voice was cold and filled with killing intent. He suddenly clasped his hands together, and the sand cloud beneath his feet instantly erupted. Countless gold sand grains, like a tsunami, swept towards the two orcs.

"Sand Sea Surge!" Marcus growled, and the gold sand, like giant waves, crashed upon the two orcs, instantly engulfing them.

The Flame Fox Orc and the centaur tried to resist, but the power of the sand sea was too strong, and their defenses were instantly shattered.

The gold sand, like countless sharp blades, cut through their bodies, and blood instantly stained the sand sea red.
