Sonia felt vaguely uncomfortable with her Father's choice to leave the hospital. He had told her he was fine, and the MRI result, proved it. Still, she couldn't help but ask, "Are you sure you're ok Anthonio?"
He nodded. "Yes. I'll be stronger in time."
"In time?" Sonia scoffed. " You aren't even ok now Father. You barely had a good sleep last night Anthonio, you turned on your bed so often, l got..."
" You were not supposed to be in my room Sonia," Anthonio eyes, dark and unsettling. His stomach quivered as he spoke, "l have ordered you time and again, not to sneak into my room, at night."
"I am your daughter Anthonio. Your only living child why do you keep pushing me away, even when you know l care." Sonia struggled against tears welling up her eyes. She didn't understand her Father's resentment against her, and it had started shortly after Marcus' death.
