There is nothing better in life then the smell of fresh bread and strawberry jam I inhaul the intoxicating aroma as I walk the streets of this little run down town there isn't many shops but we have what we need here I think to myself as I walk in to the butcher shop this is my home I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. this butcher shop is where my dad took us every Sunday to get our weekly meat supply I never could understand why we needed that much meat every week I swear my dad went through a pound of meat every hour like some kind of animal I giggle as I think about how ridicules that sounds he wasn't an animal he was my dad a human through and through. honestly one of the strongest people I knew. Nobody can compare to him his kindness and strength he would know what to do with mother how to save her and we wouldn't need these strange people showing up out of the blue. I wonder what these people will be like are they nice? are they mean? are they here to change my whole life or will they leave after they are done doing what they came to do? i was so far up in the clouds that i oh most missed franklin asking me what he can do for me today. oh, I am sorry franklin ill take the usual but double it please. it's no problem, Evia I'll get right on it. as franklin worked getting my meat order prepared, he makes small talk with me. so how is your mother doing is she feeling any better? she is hanging in there, but I don't think she is doing any better honestly. as he hands me my order he says please give her my love and tell her she is in my prayers. I will do that franklin thank you I say as I walk towards the door to head home.
