Callum had suspected Diana's unusual arrival would bring bad news. He had a bad feeling that his stepmother would use any means necessary to destroy his relationship with Edith, just like it had been five years ago. Now he began to suspect Diana: did she already know their relationship was back to normal? If she didn't know, why was she so insistent on marrying Arabella?
Hearing the issue of marriage being brought up, Callum didn't want Erdin to hear the conversation directly. So, he started acting naturally to avoid appearing awkward in front of his stepmother.
"By the way, Erdin, didn't you finish your homework last night? Why don't you finish it before you forget?"
Erdin quickly turned off the TV. "Okay, I'll finish my homework now." He immediately ran up the stairs and into his parents' room.
