Winter has successfully entered the whole Shanghai. Today's morning also seemed like a windy winter night, but I like it. It gives me a kind of soothing and calmness in me. Today also I need to get ready fast for the shoot, of course there is only one scene today also we need to shoot. Wang Ruoxi is still sleeping as always. At this, I closed the door silently so that her sleep won't get disturbed.
After taking the bus, within 45 minutes I reached the set. Without looking for anyone I immediately entered my room and changed the costumes and came out of the room.
"Miss Zhao please come this way," said Yang Lulu from a little far away. I went there without looking at anyone. She handed over the script to me. I sat on the chair there and started reading my dialogues.
"Ok now time for the scene, everyone take your positions and Mr. Xu Yuan please stand there. Yes perfect," said the director.
The moment they said Xu Yuan, again my Mr. Heart skips a beat. But today I am stronger, stronger than any day. Yesterday only I made myself remember that he has a loving girlfriend and he is happy with her. Yes, I saw those videos too on Weibo, so no more dilemma. "Be professional Zhao Shiza, be professional," by saying this I stood up and went there where he was already standing.
"Ok and the scene starts here," director said.
'Falling for you was never in my list to do. I was in the process of falling for someone else but you came and made me fall for you.'
These lines are said by me to Xu Yuan. Yes, I can say this is my favourite dialogue of mine till now. The depth this dialogue is carrying is unmatchable.
Then directly Xu Yuan's character replies to me saying,
'I came and made you fall for me because you made for me, I made for you and falling for each other is never in our list but it happens because it's destined.'
Then he presses his forehead to mine and closes his eyes. I too close my eyes.
"Perfect, what a performance! Cut it. We will shoot the next scene after the break of 30 minutes."
After the break of 30 minutes I said this to myself again—I mean isn't Xu Yuan going today for his other drama shoot? Has he completed all his shoots? So from now onwards we need to shoot the whole day? So many questions just blooming in my mind.
Then the voice came, "Mam it's break time, didn't you bring your food to eat?" Yang Lulu asked me.
I nodded my head in no while biting my nails as I am just so confused that whatever happened today. I said, "Miss Yang Lulu, tell me… did Xu Yuan—I mean Mr. Xu Yuan—finish his previous shootings?"
"Yes mam."
"So now we have to shoot the whole day right?"
"Yes mam, whole day. He completed his work commitments so now we will shoot whole day. Now you tell me didn't you eat anything? Why do you look so pale today mam?"
"Ooo nothing, just tired, didn't get enough time to sleep."
"Are you hungry?"

I said, "Nothing more, just milk tea."
"Ok, I'll bring that one."
After 7 minutes she came back carrying 2 milk teas in her hand.
"See, this is your milk tea," I take it.
I asked her astonishingly, "Why aren't you eating your food? Is it because of me? Just to accompany me?"
She smiles again and said, "No definitely not. Actually I am also like you today, clueless, because after reaching here only I got to know that from today onwards we will shoot the whole day. That's why, because I was thinking that only one scene we need to shoot today also like past 2 days. But besides this, one more thing I wanna say."
My eyes go wide because I don't know what she is going to say.
"You ask too many questions mam, too many."
Then we both burst into laughter and while laughing I said, "I know I know, many people said this to me."
"Really?"
"Yes really."
By laughing and chit-chatting with each other we finished our milk teas. Then she went from there to do something.
Then I started moving towards the room and then I entered my room and locked it from inside. The room looks bit strange today but in the morning it was same, but maybe I haven't noticed that much. I start finding my next costume dress everywhere in the room but couldn't able to find it.
Then I say to myself that maybe Yang Lulu forgot to put the costume here or maybe she will be coming here with the costumes. I must wait for her sometime. Then I take a step back but I got bumped into a pillar—that I thought—and I am about to fall on the floor but someone holds me and didn't let me fall on floor.
I closed my eyes tightly and said, "Please please don't leave me, I'll treat you with China's best milk tea in whole Shanghai if you'll save me please. I really don't wanna fall, I'll get hurt and I don't like to get hurt, it gives pain please please."
Then a laugh came, a little laugh saying "Childish."
The moment I heard it I opened my eyes and they go wide—it's Xu Yuan who is holding me. I immediately get up from there and start looking at the floor because I can't make eye contact with him. I can't. My breathing becomes a little unstable. I hope he didn't see it.
I start running towards the door to open it but I tried, I tried hard but it's not opening. With all my strength I tried again but nothing is working out. I whisper to myself, "When did my room's lock become this much problematic?"
Then he says, "It's not your room, it's mine. I think you have mistakenly assumed it as your room."
I turned around and saw him. He is sitting on his sofa very casually and using his phone. He has such strong hearing ears, he listens that I said to myself.
I gather courage to ask him and take a deep sigh and say, "Can you please help me to open it?"
He didn't say anything, just busy in his phone, looking so calm and composed like he is chilling on the beach itself.
Then after 1 minute he put his phone down on the sofa and looked towards me and said, "This door has lock issues, that's why I haven't locked it from inside. But don't worry, I have texted my assistant, he will be here within few minutes. Don't get panic."
I left speechless. I can't say anything because I have nothing to say.
"You please be comfortable, don't worry, the door will be open."
I nodded my head and looked down at the floor.
Then there is silence between us in the room.
Then the voice came from outside the door and the locks moved and here it is—the door gets opened.
"Sorry Mr. Xu Yuan for giving trouble to you," his assistant said to him.
"It's ok, just fix this lock as soon as possible."
"Sure sir, but why did you take this room sir? You already knew that its lock is broken and this room isn't given to you, it's allotted to the other one—"
Then he cut him and said, "Just fix it as soon as possible."
I was listening to all this from a little far away from them. They didn't hear me but I can hear them. But I am not able to understand what they were talking because Xu Yuan already cut the conversation of his assistant. It's incomplete conversation, I can't get anything from it.
I start scratching my head and start moving towards my room where Yang Lulu is waiting for me.
"You know what Yang Lulu, what happened just now?" I said to her.
"Yes I know mam, you got locked in Xu Yuan's room, I got to know it."
"You know what mam, his assistant just told me that the room whose lock is broken is not allotted to Xu Yuan, it's allotted to you. But the moment he got to know that it's going to be the female lead's room, he exchanged it with his room. His assistant said to him to not do this, that this lock will be fixed after few days, but you know what he said? He said that he knows it will get fixed but a girl's safety comes first. How can a girl feel safe here when the lock is broken? It's unsafe for her and she is a new one in the industry, she might not get used to it, she'll get scared."
I went in deep thought. I know that he is a good person but never thought that he thinks this much about me ever. I corrected myself—not me, about everyone. I am not some special one. If there is some other actress here then also he will do the same because he is a really good human being. Or you can say an example of nature's best human gesture—it's him only. I am not something special for him. Stop assuming it.
"He is so good right mam?"
"Yes yes he is, absolutely he is."
I smiled faintly while saying this to her….
