Dahlia's POV
Cobb paused before answering. "There are no scars on your body."
"Cobb, are you absolutely certain about that?"
I released Lorena's arm and moved closer to him, my eyes narrowing with intent.
A cold smile spread across my lips. "You sound awfully confident for someone making such a bold claim."
Ivana's grip tightened on his arm, her face flashing with irritation.
"Six years together, any guy would know that stuff," someone whispered from the crowd.
"True, but she's not bad looking though," another voice chimed in.
"Are you insane? She belongs to Mr. Zaid."
"So what? If Mr. Zaid doesn't want her anymore, what's the problem?"
The cruel comments stung, and I mentally kicked myself for not demanding more than just 1.5 million per year. Pain and suffering compensation should have been included in that contract.
"Cobb, I'm asking you again. Are you completely sure I have no scars?"
