Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Sleeping After Eating is an Excellent Quality for a Youngster

Kanna, getting up from the ground, looked around and quickly spotted and locked onto her prey.

It was a wild boar nearly two meters long and one and a half meters tall.

Judging by its behavior, rummaging in the nearby mud trying to dig out bugs or mice for snacks with its tusks, it was clearly an outsider.

After all, the local large wild beasts had either ended up in Kanna's stomach or been scared away in the past few days. Except for the very first week, Kanna hadn't hunted such a large beast in the last two days.

So, upon discovering the wild boar, Kanna knew her dinner was secured.

Accompanied by a series of crackling electric sounds, Kanna, like a cannonball, jumped directly onto the wild boar's head.

"Girei: Seishun Raigei!"

Accompanied by Kanna's loud shout, while the wild boar was still confused about where the sound on its head came from, she kicked it directly on the forehead.

In an instant, with a thud as it fell, the wild boar met its end without knowing what happened.

Circling the fallen wild boar, Kanna clapped her hands with satisfaction.

This kick of hers could be said to be the most practiced move these past few days, emphasizing speed, accuracy, and ruthlessness.

One move, and whether you're a wild boar, a bear, or any other large animal, it guarantees a 100% demise, and the wound isn't large, at least it's still a complete corpse before being eaten.

Then Kanna effortlessly lifted the wild boar, which was almost dozens of her combined size.

Carrying the wild boar, she skillfully went to a river, gutted it, strung the thoroughly washed wild boar onto a huge branch, then carried it on her shoulder, skipping her way back to her temporary dwelling for the past few days.

This temporary dwelling, it must be said, previously belonged to a very warm and hospitable brown bear.

When Kanna was first teleported here, without family or a fixed abode, it was this brown bear that not only warmly welcomed Kanna to live in its cave but also generously offered its meat to Kanna for free. And fearing that young Kanna might not sleep well in the wilderness, it even friendly sponsored its fur as Kanna's blanket.

At the time, Kanna was moved by the brown bear's selfless spirit, so she not only ate it completely clean but also broke and sucked out every single bone.

After bringing the wild boar home, she gathered firewood and then extended her tail into it.

Accompanied by a crackling sound of electricity, flames rose from the firewood.

Before the flames reached her tail, Kanna quickly retracted it and then skillfully placed the wild boar in the middle of the flames.

Before long, the aroma of roasting meat wafted out from the cave.

The wild beasts living nearby, smelling the meat, initially wanted to approach, but suddenly a feeling of dread, causing their hearts to palpitate, emanated from the cave.

Those wild beasts instantly scattered and fled, no longer daring to covet the scent from the cave.

After a hearty meal, Kanna rubbed her eyes, no longer able to resist the invitation of the Sandman. She stumbled to the bearskin, closed her eyes, and fell into a deep sleep.

Not long after Kanna fell asleep, a well-armed team arrived by the river where she had butchered the wild boar.

Such teams should be quite common on this land, but what was uncommon was that this small team included both Sarkaz and Sarkaz.

It should be known that these two races are absolute blood enemies. Even if an organization could accommodate both races, it would be very difficult for them to coexist in the same team.

The most troublesome among them were the Sarkaz. Because after the Kazdel civil war, the Sarkaz fragmented, and many joined other organizations or became mercenaries. These Sarkaz didn't care who the boss was; as long as the price was right, they would fight for them.

However, most Sarkaz are notoriously stubborn. They have a very high tolerance for their own kind, but for the Sarkaz, their enemies, not drawing their weapons on sight was already the greatest restraint.

So, such a harmonious team with both races made those unfamiliar with the situation feel very strange.
