Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Permanent Full-Level Omnitrix! Vilgax’s Awakening!

Boom!!

Way Big raised his colossal foot and strode toward the giant robot.

Each step sent shockwaves across the ground — trees trembled, and even Diamondhead staggered from the tremor.

One by one, the massive machines faltered before the towering figure.

"I'll crush you first!" Way Big clenched his fist and drove it down toward the mechanical giant.

Boom!!

The robot's reactor blazed to life, unleashing a torrent of destructive energy that slammed against Way Big's chest.

"Huh?" Way Big lowered his head, watching as the searing beam splashed harmlessly against his armor-like skin.

He took a deep breath.

Then — whoosh! — exhaled with hurricane force. The gale scattered the energy blast, blowing the massive robot clean off its feet and hurling it across the field!

The giant machine crashed into the wasteland with a thunderous impact.

"It… it blew that thing away with one breath!?"

"This isn't a hero—it's a god!"

Everyone watching stood frozen in disbelief, their worldviews shattered. Then came awe, cheers, and pure adoration.

Bang!!

Way Big crouched slightly, then leapt into the air and landed right in front of the dazed robot.

The machine slashed wildly, twin plasma blades cutting arcs through the air.

Way Big lifted one arm to block.

Crack!!

The twin blades shattered instantly upon contact, as if they were made of glass. They couldn't even scratch him.

Given Way Big's durability, only Vilgax's raw power could ever make him flinch.

The robot's sensors blinked erratically — unable to calculate or comprehend the being in front of it.

Boom! Boom!

Way Big's fists came down like meteors, pummeling the giant robot into twisted metal.

In a matter of seconds, it was reduced to nothing but scraps.

"Ding! Mission complete!

Host has earned 10 Reward Points!"

Way Big straightened up, the mission finished in moments.

Nearby, Max leaned against a tree, staring in disbelief.

"Man… Ethen joining the Plumbers might be the best thing that's ever happened to us."

He swallowed hard. "How is anyone supposed to match that?"

Gwen's eyes shimmered with awe as she watched the towering alien vanish into the distance. "With Ethen around… everything just feels possible."

On the battlefield, Diamondhead was still struggling against three smaller robots, his diamond armor chipped but unbroken.

"Hey, Diamond Brother!" Way Big's booming voice echoed.

"Just call me Diamondhead!" Ben grunted, bracing himself. "I—I can handle this! I don't need help!"

Even as one robot pinned him down, Ben tried to sound tough.

Way Big sighed and reached over.

Boom!

With one casual swing, he tossed the massive robot a hundred meters away. It exploded on impact like a crushed soda can.

"These two next."

Way Big grabbed the other two robots, one in each hand, and hurled them aside like toys.

"Diamondhead! Finish them off!"

"Got it!" Ben shouted, shaking off his pride. He summoned twin diamond gatling guns and shredded the robots into debris.

Moments later, silence fell.

Then came the cheers — loud, endless cheers.

"Way Big!!"

"Diamondhead!!"

The survivors were crying, laughing, celebrating their heroes.

Ben waved to them. "All good now! Everyone's safe!"

Then, exhausted, he reverted back to normal and trudged toward the RV. Way Big simply spread his arms and soared into the sky, disappearing like a meteor.

By the time ambulances and news crews arrived, the footage of the "giant alien savior" was already flooding the headlines.

Inside Grandpa Max's rusted old RV, the atmosphere was finally calm again.

Max and Gwen sat quietly until Ethen and Ben returned, both visibly drained but unharmed.

Gwen rushed forward, worry clear on her face. "Are you okay, Ethen?"

"I'm fine," he assured her, flashing a tired smile. "But next time, we have to be faster. We can't let them hurt people again."

"You're right," Ben said firmly, nodding.

Max smiled proudly. "You both did great tonight. Get some rest — you've earned it."

Past midnight.

Ethen stirred awake as the familiar system voice echoed in his mind.

"Ding! Host's Original Omnitrix (Max-Level Edition) has expired.

Would you like to permanently store it in your Ability Pool?"

His eyes snapped open. "How much does it cost?"

"Original Omnitrix (Max-Level Edition): 120 Reward Points."

He had 125 total — just enough.

He clenched his fists. "Do it. Save it permanently."

"Ding! Congratulations, Host!

You have successfully stored the Original Omnitrix (Max-Level Edition) in your Ability Pool!"

A satisfied grin spread across his face. Now, no matter what random template he drew, he'd always have a reliable backup.

He remembered the time he accidentally drew a "Blood Watch" template and spent an entire day craving duck blood… Yeah, better safe than sorry.

Then he whispered, "System, activate today's template."

"Ding! Host has successfully drawn a new Omnitrix Template: Ultimate Alien Omnitrix!"

"Features: Second-generation aliens and the Ultimate Evolution function, with full voice-control mode."

Ethen's heart pounded with excitement.

Perfect.

He smirked. "Let's see how anyone's handle my Ultimate Aliens…"

Meanwhile, aboard Vilgax's flagship.

A combat robot knelt before its master, its voice trembling.

"Report… our elite units and primary assault mechs were all… destroyed instantly."

Vilgax's face darkened. His claws clenched, trembling with rage.

He refused to believe it — but the truth was undeniable.

Someone on Earth wielded the Omnitrix better than him.

"Impossible…!" he growled. "How could a single human possess such power!?"

His crimson eyes flared.

"Prepare the regeneration chamber. I'm resuming training — immediately!"

"I'll grow stronger… stronger than ever! I'll reclaim what's mine!"

The chamber hissed open, steam filling the dark room as Vilgax stepped inside — his monstrous determination burning brighter than ever.
