Chapter 5 - A Fair of Fumbles

Mina insisted that Haruto take a break and go to the town fair with his kids. Haruto, hesitant at first, agreed.

Chaos reigned almost immediately: Haruto spilled popcorn on a stranger, a runaway balloon nearly hit a vendor, and Mina somehow ended up balancing three cotton candies while trying to steady him.

"See? Life isn't just about rules and silence!" Mina exclaimed, tugging him toward a game booth.

By the end of the day, drenched in rain and sugar, Haruto laughed like he hadn't in years. His kids were thrilled, and Mina's sparkling energy had transformed his dull weekend into a memory he would treasure.

As they walked home, hands accidentally brushing more than once, Haruto realized something profound—his quiet house was no longer empty. It was full of laughter, warmth, and the kind of unpredictable joy only Mina could bring.
