Chapter 61 - 61: The Authority of Omniscience and Omnipotence

A deafening roar shattered the heavens.

"ROAAARRR!!!"

From above, the Beast 666 tore through the sky, its colossal body blotting out all light as it lunged straight toward Balder.

Balder clenched his fist.

With a single strike, he unleashed power that split the firmament itself.

Crack!

The void ruptured. The Beast was hurled backward, smashed into the chaotic storm between dimensions.

Despite its terror-inspiring form, the Beast 666 wasn't truly strong.

It lacked reason, lacked logic—no intellect, no technique.

Its combat instinct was purely animal, relying only on raw stats to crush weaker beings.

Unlike the previous "God," who was a walking mass of coded laws and passive abilities—more like a numbers monster—the Beast was brute chaos, a tyrant without mind.

It dominated only by instinct, not strategy.

Its only special trait was its nature: pure chaos and disorder, which granted it limited resistance to the Pseudo Omniscient Authority—a counter to structured knowledge itself.

But even that was useless, as long as Balder didn't invoke the Authority directly.

After all, hadn't the last God suppressed the Beast using mere divine words?

The Beast 666 was also a convergence of all human negativity and madness—every ounce of chaos and despair—allowing it to resurrect endlessly.

It couldn't truly die.

The best option was to hurl it into the Void Currents, let it die and revive in infinite loops—a perfect eternal prison.

Having done so, Balder descended slowly into the abyss carved by his God-Slaying strike.

At its end, there was no trace of the divine—God had been annihilated, body and soul, leaving only two glowing remnants suspended midair.

One was a radiant orb—pulsing with an aura that transcended comprehension.

It was the Pseudo Omniscient and Omnipotent Authority.

Balder's eyes blazed with fervor.

He had plotted and schemed for so long—for this.

Without hesitation, he drew in the orb's light.

It merged into his being.

For a few moments, he grew still—then opened his eyes again.

"Pseudo Omniscient Authority—activate!"

His pupils turned pure white, gleaming like suns.

He cast his gaze into the darkness—

and in that instant, a sphere of shadow coalesced in his palm.

"Hah… this is the power of the Omniscient Authority!"

The Darkness of Hodr—the primordial shadow his brother once embodied—was now his to command.

Such a sensation defied words.

No wonder every God branded themselves "The One True God."

With such authority, all others in the same world were nothing but insignificant sparks before a sun.

His gaze drifted again—toward the magma nearby.

One glance, and molten fire surged into his palm.

Satisfied, Balder deactivated the power.

Useful, yes—but costly.

Just those few seconds had devoured nearly a tenth of his accumulated Faith Energy.

He had many followers now, but not enough to sustain constant use.

Then his eyes fell upon the second floating light.

He absorbed it as well—without hesitation.

"This… this is Genesis! The Divine Proclamation of Creation!"

Genesis, the sacred command of God—

a supreme divine spell.

No longer would he need to gather energy or form seals.

Now, a single word could reshape existence itself.

Just as he was about to leave, a thought struck him.

He extended his awareness, reached across dimensions—and summoned a weapon into his hand.

A spear.

Its shaft was riddled with cracks, its once-brilliant edge dulled.

Balder sighed quietly.

This weapon had cost him dearly.

Forged from countless Spears of Longinus, gathered through time-loops in the Terminator World,

and bathed in the divine blood of the last God he had slain—

it had become a God-Killing Spear, created solely for this one purpose.

But gods were never easy to kill.

Even that single strike had nearly drained every ounce of its power.

The weapon had been built as a one-time relic, fueled by oceans of specialized faith and sanctified with divine blood, condensing its God-Slaying Concept to its absolute peak.

"Hmm? What's this?"

Balder frowned slightly.

A pulse of strange energy stirred within the weapon.

His consciousness sank into it—and his eyes widened in delight.

"Because it slew a true God… it's evolving!"

"It's developing genuine God-Killing essence!"

He laughed, pleased.

"From today onward—this weapon shall be known as the Emperor Eater Spear!"

He twirled the half-broken spear once, then drew out a mass of shifting black matter from his storage—a remnant from the Chronicle of Chaos world: a proto-artifact of darkness.

It never truly suited him; it had once been used to craft Terminator assassins.

Now, it had a better purpose.

"Fusion."

He invoked Genesis Word.

The black mass melted into the Emperor Eater Spear, fusing perfectly.

"Not bad. Very handy."

He stored the weapon away.

"Now I've got the Halo of Light for divine power, the Emperor Eater Spear for battle… My arsenal's complete—for now."

A shimmer of divine light surrounded him.

His body blurred—then vanished.

When he reappeared, he was above the clouds—beyond the veil—

in Heaven itself.

"Such pure divine energy…"

He could now see its structure effortlessly.

This so-called holy light was simply refined Luminal Energy, infused with anti-demonic properties—

a branch of the light element, not its evolved form.

He looked around at the grand seven-tiered mountains of Heaven.

The sight drew him into thought.

"With my power now… I could finally build my own realm."

A divine kingdom.

A personal God-Realm.

Eventually, as he ruled over more worlds, he would need to establish a true "upper realm" for mortals—a sacred destination.

By creating his own Heaven, he could define ascension standards:

mortals who reached enlightenment could "rise" to the divine realm through holy baptism.

Such a system would cultivate elite believers and give the lower worlds a tangible hope—

a dream that would, in turn, generate even more faith energy.

Now that he possessed the Pseudo Omniscient Authority, he could easily convert faith energy into divine power—

but he no longer wished to rely on it.

After all, God Himself had perished because of that very flaw.

"Faith is poison," he murmured. "And I won't make His mistake."

Still, he needed faith—vast quantities of it.

Better to use it like a mana potion, never as his core.

He lifted his gaze once more.

The holy light of Heaven was so dense it nearly touched dimensional density.

"So this is what they call a 'Dimension'… The same type the Celestials and Hell Lords occupy in the Marvel Core World."

Not every world could qualify as a dimension.

Dimensions were akin to the Cave Heavens of Eastern myth—pocket universes of pure, condensed law.

Without such concentration, even claiming a planet meant nothing.

If just any world could call itself a dimension,

then every would-be god would instantly wield Heaven-Father-level might—

and chaos would reign.

Balder smiled faintly.

He had work to do.
