Chapter 193 - Chapter 192: I Can Tell Fortunes

This wasn't a guide at all—this was pure cannon fodder!

But the Sand Howl Tiger had no choice. If it wanted to live, it could only obey Song Jie's command.

Seeing the Sand Howl Tiger become completely docile, Song Jie immediately recalled his little green creatures.

At that moment, a Hunter Squad was walking toward them.

The woman leading the group pointed at them and said, "We injured this Sand Howl Tiger. So this Sand Howl Tiger belongs to us!"

"You say it's yours? Then call it. See if it answers you," Song Jie replied casually.

"You!!" The dark, yellow-skinned woman pointed at him, furious yet speechless.

A black-bearded man stepped forward more calmly. "Little brother, you're going too far. Even if you call this Sand Howl Tiger, it won't answer you either."

"Who said that?"

Song Jie glanced at the Sand Howl Tiger. "Give them a random roar to listen to."

"ROAR!!"

The Sand Howl Tiger let out a furious roar directly at the group.

The black-bearded man and the yellow-skinned woman froze. A Warrior-Level demon… listening obediently to this young man?

Song Jie chuckled. "You say the Sand Howl Tiger is yours. But if you call it, do you think it'll answer you?"

"You definitely used some trick to tame it!!" the woman snapped.

"I like convincing others with reason. If you don't believe me, ask it whether I used 'great reasoning' to persuade it," Song Jie said, pointing at the beast.

The Sand Howl Tiger wanted to cry, but it had no choice. It nodded.

"You guys!!"

The woman was so angry she nearly exploded.

"Little Tiger, someone's pointing at you like that. Can you tolerate it?" Song Jie asked.

"ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!!!"

The Sand Howl Tiger charged straight at her.

She never expected it to suddenly attack!

"Be careful!" the other hunters shouted.

The black-bearded man instantly completed a Light Element Star Pattern, releasing a golden Painting Wall in front of her.

"Beast! You're courting death!"

The Sand Howl Tiger slammed into the barrier just as the man completed another Star Pattern.

"Fiery Fist!"

"Earth Fiend!"

His fist erupted in flames as he slammed the ground, cracks spreading with explosive force toward the tiger.

Suddenly, a glowing Holy Shield appeared around the Sand Howl Tiger—Song Jie's protection.

The ground burst open, flames surging—but they couldn't break through the Holy Shield.

The black-bearded man stared at Song Jie, his brows furrowed. His intermediate-level, second-tier Earth Fiend couldn't break a first-tier Holy Shield?

Meanwhile, the Sand Howl Tiger glanced around, realized it was unharmed, and sighed in relief.

Song Jie said calmly, "Two choices: leave quickly, or I'll beat you until you leave."

"Old Black, they're just some students. Why are we afraid—"

The woman didn't finish her sentence before the black-bearded man cut her off sharply.

"Let's go."

He had been a hunter for years—he instantly sensed something wrong.

A Warrior-Level demon obeying a human meant one of two things:

The man before them had a huge secret.

Or his strength was far above theirs.

"Old Black!!" the woman protested.

But he ignored her, leading the team away. She could only follow, unwillingly.

Jiang Shaoxu, Bai Tingting, Lingling, and the others all stepped behind Song Jie earlier—ready to strike if the enemy dared.

"Little trick," Song Jie snorted.

Then he called the Sand Howl Tiger over to serve as a mount for the girls.

The beast didn't dare resist and obediently crouched down.

Lingling got on first, followed by Jiang Shaoxu and Bai Tingting.

Li Rui gave her spot to them and followed behind Song Jie.

As they continued forward, they encountered many Sand Howl Tigers, but none attacked.

After all, they had a mount that could "speak tiger language." No fellow tiger wanted trouble.

Soon, they arrived at Shawang River—a highland river system that had dried up countless years ago.

The demons here were White Sand Demon Soldiers, creatures hidden beneath the sand. Any surface movement triggered a ruthless ambush.

"It's getting dark. We'll set up camp here," Song Jie said.

He could have guided them across directly.

But he had another purpose—the fragments from White Sand Demon Soldiers were worth three times the usual price. This was a perfect opportunity.

He planned to sweep the entire area. It was guaranteed profit.

The desert darkened quickly, falling into silent night.

They sat by the campfire, eating dinner and chatting idly.

The Sand Howl Tiger squatted nearby, watched closely by Li Rui. It didn't dare even dream of running.

The tiger was suffering in silence.

What kind of people are these? Bullying a poor little tiger… what heroes or heroines bully me like this?!

"I can tell fortunes. Do you believe it?" Song Jie asked, scanning the group.

"I don't believe it!" Jiang Shaoxu immediately said.

"You don't believe it?" Song Jie smiled.

"I don't believe it!" she repeated.

"Then wait."

Song Jie closed his eyes, tapping his fingers lightly.

"I've calculated it. Soon, a team will enter Shawang River… and die. Do you believe it?"

"How is that possible!!" Jiang Shaoxu scoffed. "Who would be stupid enough to go into Shawang River at night?!"

"If I calculate correctly, what will you say?" Song Jie asked.

"If you calculate correctly, I'll let you do whatever you want with me!" Jiang Shaoxu announced boldly.

"That's playing a bit big."

"If you lose, then you have to let me do whatever I want with you," she added, smug. She clearly didn't believe him.

Song Jie shook his head. "Those who confidently bet against me always ended up losing everything."

In another place, Ai Tutu suddenly sneezed, feeling someone was talking about her.

"If you really calculate correctly, then—"

Jiang Shaoxu stopped mid-sentence.

Chaotic footsteps echoed from the darkness.

Then, incredibly—

The Hunter Squad from earlier was running toward Shawang River.

And a whole group of Sand Howl Tigers was chasing them.

Jiang Shaoxu froze. She hadn't even finished her sentence—and it already came true?!

Song Jie smirked. He knew the plot. Everything was under his control.

Bai Tingting, Lingling, and the others were stunned. They now truly believed he had fortune-telling abilities.

Screams erupted from Shawang River moments later—but quickly died out.

"Song Jie… can you really tell fortunes?" Bai Tingting asked in disbelief.
