Enel continued to torture the newsbird with lightning, venting his anger all day long.
Victor watched the scene leisurely.
Enel's bounty of 800 million berries wasn't surprising—a bolt of lightning capable of destroying a naval fleet was worth it. However, the code name Divine Thunder was unexpected. Even Victor found it strange, but after thinking about it, he realized it was likely a provocation from Navy Admiral Akainu.
That Red Dog is still as annoying as ever!
Besides Enel's bounty code, Victor's code name, bounty, and Hancock's bounty had all changed. Even Margaret was counted as part of the Seven Gods Pirates, though only a portrait existed, with no name yet.

Victor didn't feel happy about his new code name or bounty. It was obvious that the World Government intended malice.
It had been only three months since Victor's debut at Marineford, yet he had gone from an unknown man to a new super pirate with a 2.1 billion berry bounty. Now, after another 500 million increase, he was a true threat.
In the past three months, Victor had been the most dazzling and strongest newcomer in the seas, causing even the twelve supernovas to stand aside.
A tree that stands out in the forest will attract envy. Victor's code name "God" made him even more conspicuous, but he didn't care. With his current strength, only a handful of people in the New World were worthy opponents.
"Captain, where are we going now? To the Admiralty? I want to show Red Dog what the wrath of God is!"
Enel said fiercely, his expression stormy. He clearly considered himself the God of Thunder.
"What the heck is a divine thunder?!"
"Enel, calm down and let the newsbird go. Your thousands of volts are way too much torture. How about just frying it to death?!"
Victor gnawed on a large chunk of meat, enjoying the flavor of sea kings' meat. Big meat felt satisfying and refreshing, especially after two banquets with Luffy.
The newsbird, stunned by Enel's lightning, thought: Is this something a human would do? I'm just selling newspapers! Life is hard enough!
"In the name of my Thunder God!!!"
Enel screamed, pausing for a moment. Whenever titles were involved, his usual boredom vanished.
The newsbird was freed from the lightning and immediately tried to escape—but its feathers had been burned to ash. Unable to fly, it fell into the sea and instinctively began swimming. The bird secretly swore never to sell newspapers near this ship again.
"Don't worry, what's yours will be yours eventually! We can't go to the Navy Headquarters for now, but we're heading to the Revolutionary Army Headquarters!"
"Revolutionary Army Headquarters? Can they give me the title of Thunder God?"
"Uh… you should go get some sleep. Those dark circles under your eyes are from torturing the newsbird!"
Victor patted Enel's shoulder, glancing at his pale cheeks. He really didn't want to hear any more complaints.
Divine Thunder… doesn't that sound nice?
After Enel returned to the ship, Victor sat on the deck of the Seven Gods, gazing at the distant sea.
Most of the tasks in The Pirate's Road had been completed. Next, he had to complete the final poaching task.
The target: Nico Robin, daughter of the devil.
Victor had no other intentions. He chose Robin because she was now at the Revolutionary Army Headquarters. He simply wanted to make contact and see what kind of organization it was.
Victor had killed the Celestial Dragons and bombed Mariachia, forging a mortal feud with the World Government. The Revolutionary Army sought to overthrow the World Government, so cooperation in the future was possible.
Besides, Victor had done Luffy a favor, and Monkey D. Dragon, as Revolutionary Army leader, wouldn't hinder him. After all, Victor was merely there to recruit someone.
As for recruiting Nico Robin, Victor had little hope. He had already sensed the strong bond between Straw Hat Pirates members like Zoro and Nami and assumed nothing could sway Robin.
In fact, in the pirate world, strong bonds weren't unique to the Straw Hats. Many pirate crews had such ties. Betrayals occurred, but until the crew disbanded, trust was fundamental.
Victor felt such a bond with Enel, and hoped that, once all crew members were aboard, true partnerships would form. His bond with Hancock, however, was deeper…
Boom!
Victor's thoughts were interrupted when a cannonball fell into the sea near the Seven Gods.
He looked up and saw a pirate ship sailing quickly toward them, being chased by a Revolutionary Army ship.
"Hey, guy in front! Help block the ships behind me! I'll give you 100,000 berries!"
A thin man stood on the deck of the fleeing pirate ship, holding a bag of berries.
[Ding, select trigger!]
[Choice 1: Ignore the pirate ship's call and continue your voyage. Reward: 30 million berries, one ton of gold]
[Choice 2: Help the Revolutionary Army defeat the fleeing pirates. Reward: Top-level archaeological knowledge, a pair of cold- and heat-resistant gloves]

The system selected a trigger. Victor took a deep breath.
It seemed that Sabo, the Revolutionary Army's Chief of Staff and Luffy and Ace's sworn brother, was aboard the ship flying the Revolutionary Army's flag.
