On the Sea
Victor stood on the deck of the Seven Gods, watching two ships approaching.
In front was an unknown pirate ship, while the Revolutionary Army ships pursued from behind. The presence of the Revolutionary Army indicated that Victor and Enel were now relatively close to the Revolutionary Army headquarters.
As for the system-triggered choice, Victor would never choose option three. He had no grudge against Sabo, so offending the Revolutionary Army for a powerful pill was unnecessary.
"Hey! The guy in front! Are you going to help me or not?!"
The fleeing pirate ship drew closer, and the thin man aboard desperately cried for help again, pulling out another bag of gold coins.
"I'll pay more!!"
From his anxious expression, it was clear he feared the Revolutionary Army pursuing him.
"Hey! Pirate brothers in front! The Revolutionary Army is dealing with these thugs. Don't interfere!"
A man on the Revolutionary ship shouted to Victor. He wore a gentleman's hat, had short golden hair, and always wore a warm smile. Compared to Ace's fiery personality, Sabo's demeanor was gentler.
Beside Sabo was a woman with orange hair and a burgundy hat, holding a telescope and observing Victor. Her expression suddenly turned extremely nervous.
"Sa… Sabo!"
"What's wrong, Karla?"
"That man seems to be..."
"If you don't want to help, get out of the way! Fire! Sink this ship!"
Seeing Victor remain unmoved, the thin man ordered his crew to bombard the Seven Gods. Victor smiled.
For these guys, the road was getting narrower and narrower.
"Yeah, hahaha! Captain, we ran into enemies early, but they look weak!"
Boom!
Three shells were about to hit the Seven Gods when a flash of lightning detonated them mid-air.
"Turn! Get out of the way of that ship!"
The thin man realized Enel was not someone to mess with. With the electric current wrapped around him, he had no choice but to avoid the Seven Gods to escape the Revolutionary Army.
"Enel! Don't let them go!"
Victor stood on the deck with his hands behind his back, enjoying the sea breeze and feeling impressed. It was far more comfortable to have a strong crew member.
Enel yawned, glancing disdainfully at the pirate ship as lightning crackled behind him.
Sixty million volt Thunder Dragon!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Thunder Dragon struck the pirate ship head-on, shattering its hull instantly.
Yet Victor found it strange. A ship that prompted Sabo, the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army, to personally pursue it had such weak strength? With Sabo's power, he could have easily destroyed it himself.
Could the Revolutionary Army have another motive?
Buzz!
After the pirate ship was torn apart by Enel's Thunder Dragon, a small lifeboat escaped. The thin man fled with two crew members.
Enel was about to chase them but was blocked by Sabo.
"You are God of Thunder Enel, right? Thank you for your help. We'll handle the rest!"
Sabo explained that the group they were chasing were arms dealers. Although he could have eliminated them easily, there were far more selling arms than this group. The Revolutionary Army wanted to trace the real source instead.
Of course, Sabo was polite. The other party had indirectly helped the Revolutionary Army, and both he and Victor were incredibly famous on the sea.
"What did you call me!?"
After a brief pause, Enel asked with a dark expression,
"You're not a god…?"
Boom!
Before Sabo could finish, a bolt of lightning struck him.
"I'm the God of Thunder!! Not the divine thunder!!"
Enel roared, gritting his teeth. He hated the term "divine thunder."
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Multiple bolts struck out. Sabo barely dodged them, becoming a little annoyed.
Standing on a floating plank, he shook his fists numb from resisting the lightning.
Victor watched the battle from the Seven Gods with great interest. He should have stopped them but wanted to gauge Sabo's strength. Sabo was roughly the same age as Ace. One was Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army, the other Captain of the Second Division of the Whitebeard Pirates. Victor was curious who was stronger.
One hundred million volts discharged!
Enel's anger escalated. He needed an outlet, and Sabo was just the right person.
At first glance, Enel seemed to have the upper hand, but Sabo calmly closed the distance while dodging the thunder.
Victor observed everything. No wonder Sabo became Chief of Staff. His combat awareness and strategic mind were exceptional.
Enel's powers could suppress Sabo, but the fight took place on the open sea. Sabo had no Devil Fruit but was skilled in Armament Haki. If Enel got careless, Sabo could throw him into the water.
Exactly as Victor expected, Enel was so confident he ignored Sabo being less than ten meters away.
Sabo seized the chance, dodged, and punched Enel!
Enel didn't dodge, continuing to release electricity.
Boom!
Boom!
Thunder and lightning roared, shaking the sea.
Both attacks were effective, but neither hit directly.
Victor intervened at the last moment, absorbing Enel's thunder while blocking Sabo's Armament Haki with his own, halting both of them.
"Captain?"
"God Victor!?"
