In the evening today, Lucas was sitting in his office chair when someone knocked on his door.
His assistant was already gone for today so he ordered Elara to open the door.
Isabella walked in.
She looked at Lucas with a playful smile and said.
"Hello master. I have come to serve you."

He responded.
"Hello Isabella. Come here."
Isabella walked towards while looking at the beautiful elf next to her and the beautiful blue orc next to Lucas.
She chose to say something.
"Aren't we going to be alone?"
Lucas sent them out.
Grishna and Elara hesitated a little before leaving.
Once they were gone, Isabella stood in front of Lucas who was sitting in his chair.

Lucas was curious how frequently ans how many gates would always appear, but he put that thought to the side and turned around to drive back to the guild.
Once he arrived, Lucas called both the information and security department heads.
The second department head was Yann Büchlser and was former swiss military. He was in his early fifties.
The information department head was Ethan Jones. He was in his early sixties and a former detective from London.
Ethan was already investigating about the current situation in Zurich and Yann was checking on his subordinates guarding the two gates they possessed.
After 10 minutes they reported to Lucas.
Yann spoke first.
"Everything is save in the vicinity of our gates, sir."
Lucas replied.
"Good. Tell them to be extra vigilant."
"Understood sir."
"Ethan, what's the situation in the city?"
Ethan answered.
"It's very manageable sir. There is 1 new D-rank gate, 3 E-rank gates and 7 F-rank gates."
Lucas was surprised and replied.
"That's a lot less than I expected. Since so far it was always more and worse when new ones appeared."
"I believe so as well sir."
"Okay good job. Keep and eye on the situation and report anything unusual."
"Yes sir!"
Lucas sent an emergency alert to all combat team members to summon them to the headquarters.

Once all three teams arrived he gave them orders.
"Thank you for arriving so quickly everyone. I have already talked to the association and we agreed that they will handle all F-rank gates and we will handle E and D-rank gates."
"Each team will handle 1 E-rank gate and I will handle the D-rank gate. You have the locations of the gates on your phone."
"This will be your first mission inside an E-rank gate with only one team. I wish you all good luck!"
"Yes sir, thank you!"
They all left right away.
Although there were already a few teams of awakened that could hunt inside E-rank gates, they couldn't clear the whole gate by themselves.
Zurich was still lacking in powerful awakened.
The association's awakened were all disciplined and had decent skills, but they lacked numbers.
There were already dozens of small teams and hundreds of individual awakened that started hunting monsters for a living.
But there were only a few bigger teams that planned to create small guilds and they all lacked strength to handle E-rank gates by themselves.
The only group that could handle that in Zurich was the Helios guild.
Of the 12 cities in the canton Zurich, 5 were practically destroyed, including Affoltern which was recently cleared of monsters.
Of the remaining 7 cities, the city Zurich, which was the largest in the canton, was also doing the best. It was all thanks to the Helios guild.
Thanks to that, everyone who fled from the nearly destroyed cities were trying to transmigrate to Zurich.

Lucas arrived in front of the D-rank gate and was surprised when he saw it's description.

Lucas was excited to have found something new.
He suspected that when you are among the first to clear a new gate, it gives you better rewards.
'Too bad I can't keep it, but it's better to destroy it to get the rewards. And I already ordered the combat teams not to destroy the gate cores of the E-rank gates.'
Lucas entered the gate and summoned everyone except Albert of course.
"Move out on your own. Only Elara stays with me."
Everyone except Elara took off in different directions.
Lucas was excited to see new monsters.
After wandering around he found the first monster.

Lucas and Elara started encountering small groups of them and Elara was always the one to kill them.
After a while they finally encountered a D-rank monster.
