Chapter 91 - Chapter 91– The Return of Laughter

(Jayjay POV)

The room was still filled with laughter when the maid hurried in with an ice pack.

"Here, young man," she said gently, handing it to David.

He pressed it to his forehead with a dramatic sigh.

"Jayjay, you totally made me open that door on purpose," he accused, glaring at me.

I raised my hands innocently. "What? No way! That was just... coincidence!"

"Yeah, right," he muttered, rolling his eyes.

Just then, Adrian came downstairs, now in clean clothes, his damp hair neatly brushed. He looked… normal again — no sadness, no gloom, just a soft smile that brightened the entire hall.

I stood up, smiling. "Hey, Adrian. How are you feeling? We're all just really happy to see you smiling again."

Keifer nodded, grinning. "Yeah, bro, what happened? You've been all quiet for weeks, and now look at you — smiling like you won a lottery."

Adrian chuckled, pointing upward with his thumb.

We all turned our heads toward the staircase. Nobody was there.

Ci-N blinked. "Uh… the stairs?"

Felix smacked the back of his head. "Of course not, idiot! He's talking about Valerie!"

Everyone burst out laughing.

Yuri smirked. "Ohhh~ Adrian and Valerie, huh?"

Keifer added with a teasing grin, "So what's their ship name gonna be? Hmm…"

Ci-N giggled, "What about… AdrieLie?"

Felix shook his head. "Nah, that sounds like a lie."

David grinned. "Then maybe Valdrian!"

"Valdrian!" everyone repeated in unison, laughing and clapping like it was official.

Right on cue, Valerie came downstairs — freshly changed, wearing one of Ciel's oversized shirts and shorts. She looked surprised to see everyone staring at her.

Then Ciel followed right behind her.

Ci-N smirked. "Oh, look! Matching outfits. Valerie, you're stealing Ciel's wardrobe and Adrian's heart!"

"What are you talking about ,I'm not stealing any one heart!" Valerie shouted playfully, tossing a pillow at him while everyone laughed harder.

The maid peeked in, shaking her head with a smile. "Dinner is ready, everyone."

As we started moving toward the dining table, Felix nudged Adrian and whispered loudly, "Better sit next to your girlfriend, Mr. Valdrian!"

Adrian blushed, laughing softly. "You guys never stop, do you?"

"Never," Keifer replied smugly.

Valerie folded her arms. "Why tease us again, start teasing Jayjay and Keifer next."

The room went silent for half a second — then Valerie smirked.

"Yeah, that's right. JayFer!"

The entire group exploded in laughter.

"NOOO! Don't you dare start that!" I cried, my cheeks heating up as Keifer tried to hide his grin.

Dinner that night was full of noise, jokes, and laughter — the kind we hadn't had in weeks. For the first time since the funeral, it truly felt like Section E was whole again.
