Soon after, Liana was outside the apartment building, standing on the sidewalk with a tense expression. She saw Ryan car approaching and stopping right in front of her.
Ryan got out of the car, his face worried. He was about to greet Liana when, without warning, Liana hand was raised.

A hard slap landed on Ryan cheek, surprising Ryan so much that his head snapped to the side.
Ryan held his cheek, staring at Liana in shock. "Liana? What's wrong?" he asked, truly surprised by Liana sudden and aggressive action.
"Didn't I already tell you not to interfere with my life?" Liana said, her voice trembling with anger.
"What do you mean?" Ryan asked, trying to understand.
"Stop pretending!" Liana pointed at Ryan face. "Why did you hit Mr. David?!" Liana stated bluntly, her eyes glaring, demanding an answer.
David, who had just exited the lobby and witnessed the entire scene from a distance, stopped abruptly.
