Akiza slowly opened her eyes, blinking a few times to push off the sleepiness. As she tried to move her head, she saw that she was leaning on Ryoken's shoulder.
She remembered that after the duel she was tired and used it as an excuse to get closer to Ryoken to rest her head on his shoulder.
She wasn't supposed to be sleeping in that situation. To think that Ryoken had stayed still for who knows how much time without disrupting her sleep made her heart skip a beat.
Indeed, even if they were the reincarnation of themselves in another world, he still was the gentleman and kind person he used to be.
Looking up, she noticed that he had also fallen asleep, making her giggle softly. Unlike how his appearance appeared cold and calculative while awake, he looked at peace and kinda cute.
He barely opned his eye, looking at her "Did you enjoy sleeping on my shoulder?"
She looked down, embarrassed that while she slept comfortably, Ryoken probably had it different "Yeah... I'm sorry."
"No need to be sorry, I understand. you were tired."
Seeing how he assured her that he was fine, even when she could guess that his shoulder had gone stiff, made her smile.
"So what am I supposed to do... I mean what were you doing in this world till now?" She asked curiously.
"This world is different from the world you knew. We're currently in the Fusion dimension. Other than us there's 3 more dimensions, standard dimension, Synchro dimension and lastly XYZ dimension."
"Is the Synchro dimension our home dimension, Where New Domino City is?"
He nodded, answering her "Yes and no. As I said it's different from what you know. So we don't need to focus on it for now. The important thing is that the leader of this Dimension, Professor Akaba is planning to wager war on other dimensions to unify them and use them as fuel for his own purposes."
"War?" She asked, confused on what he meant by it.
"Yes war. He plans to send soldiers to each dimension and turn people into cards, which later on will be used as a resources for his Masterplan."
Akiza couldn't believe what she was hearing. How could a single man do such a cruel thing just for personal agendas?
"And I plan to stop him. But I alone am not enough. Akiza I need you." He asked, looking into her eyes as he said that.
Akiza blushed furiously, giving Furious Dragon a run for his money with how she red she got when she heard him say that.
"You know I can't say no when you ask me like that..." She looked away shyly, making Ryoken curse himself as how he worded it.
The way he asked her and the way she answered made it look like an intimate scene in which he was going to take her V-card.
He sighed to himself before pushing the matter aside "Look what I plan to do will definitely risk my life. If you take part in it, you will also be staking your life. So are you sure?"
She nodded, smiling gently at him "Even if you said you planned on being a villain and destroy all these dimensions I would have still agreed with you. As long as I you don't forget me I'll follow and do anything."
Ryoken was loss for words. How could she trust him this much? Was she this desperate for his affection.
"Well then since it's decided lets get you settled in. You see, for now the plan is to lay low and act like we're on their side. So when we go back, I'll inform the Professor that I have subdued you. Just act along alright?"

After going back with Akiza, he informed Akaba that had successfully subdued her and she was under his control, much to the latters shock.
To win against a psychic duelist was no small task. Specially one that he planned to train and use as a hunter of Zarc.
Yet not only had Ryoken beaten her, but also had gotten her under control, seemingly to do anything he asked.
But then he remembered the pill that Doktor had given to Ryoken, meaning that he might have used that and that's why she was under his control.
Nevertheless this evaluated Ryoken's place in his mind.
"Build the Arc Dorm as soon as possible." He ordered to the construction team that was already working on it.
If he wanted to keep Ryoken loyal and under his control without resorting to mind control, then he had to give him some benefits to make himself appear as a reliable chancellor.
Currently Ryoken was staying in Zane's room with Akiza. When Zane saw him with her, he chuckled but refrained from making any jokes.
To give them some privacy, he decided to stay in another room for the time being. Ryoken was his one and only true friend and rival, so he would take the role of a wingman for him.
But contrary to his beliefs, Ryoken cursed him in his mind as he was left alone in a room with Akiza.
Not that he minded being alone with a beautiful girl like her, rather it was because of that which made him feel embarrassed and awkward.
Some might say he could give her the bed and sleep on the Couch, which he actually did. But when he woke up the next morning, he found out Akiza was sleeping on top of him, not allowing him to move.
To make it worse, Zane had decided to check on them and when he opened the door, he snapped a picture of them.
"Dude you know you're appearing like a stalker when you do that?"
"Don't worry I'm just sending it to Sheppard Sensei so he can show Yuri and Serena how their beloved brother is taken from them."
Ryoken gave him a blank look, before sighing "Do whatever you want. I'll get back at you when I have the chance."
"So where did you two meet? is she a freshman like you?"
"No. You know about the dimensions that I told you before, right?"
Zane's previous mood was replaced by his usual serious face. Before going to the Academia, Ryoken had brought this up to him. About the dimensions, and what Akaba planned to do.
At first he couldn't believe it, but given that Serena would be in danger, and she was like a little sister to him too, he decided to believe him.
Later on after doing a bit of digging and carefully spying on Akaba, he was sure of what Ryoken told him and was on guard whenever he was near the professor.
"I do. Is she perhaps from one of the other dimensions?"
"Yes. She's from the Synchro dimension."
"And I guess the Professor knows about this too. So is she in danger? do you need my assistance?" He said, offering his help to Ryoken, which he denied.
"No need. I got everything under control." He then took out the pill that the Doktor had given him from his pocket, throwing it towards Zane which he catches it.
"What's this?" He asked, examining the pill.
"One of the creations of Akaba's crazy people. A pill that once consumed by someone, makes them be under total control of Akaba. If you see anything similar immediately reject or atleast keep it till I say it is safe or not."
"I see, Thanks for the information. I'll be going
now, don't want to ruin your couples time."
